So I was at the mint making a purchase and I bought (3) 1/10 GAE's and they brought out a 1999,2001 and 2005 slabbed MS69's the 2005 additionally a first strike.

THEY SOLD THEM FOR BULLION PRICES SCHWINNG!!!! so I got them for $157 each.

I am thinking of doing some arbitrage at the local coinshop, but I am a bullion guy not a Coin collector. I know they are worth more but I don't have a "bluebook" for these. Can any one help me out I was hoping to possibly trade them for 25+ OZ of silver or possibly (4) 1/10 plane Jane bullion coins.

What do you folks think.

What I do know is the 1999 is not a "W" that is about it.

Help Please.

Thanks in advance

Check APMEX and see what their buy prices are for slabbed coins. If they don't list, at least see sell prices. They may be worth bullion price (which is not bad at all). Are the NGC?

the 1999 is NGC
the 2005 is PCGS
the 2001 is ICG

I would hope they are worth at least bullion price because that is what I paid am I missing something? Or does is there some other factor in pricing other than Fractionals and AGE's fetch a small premium over generic bullion?

Not sure about your specific coins, but a lot of times, MS69 GAEs go for bullion price or very little above. When my dealer is out of unslabbed bullion when you want a GAE, he will substitute a MS68 or 69 for the same price. I think there were too many made to have any rarity value yet.

Looks like APMEX is selling MS69 1/10 GAEs for 169-184. So you bought for a good price, but not a screamin' deal.
