Businesses are closing down right and left now that the tourist season is over, seven of them in one week and that includes one of the biggest restaurant here in town........the only ones visiting my one mule town are those from overseas that want to visit a "quaint" town from the old west......maybe I should seat down on a chair outside my home with my shootgun on my lap and a straw in my mouth and say "Howdy partner" but with a Cuban accent of course hahahahahahahah.

I can now feel the fear on those businesses that are still open and specially now that we are having a garage sale seven days a week with cars being sold right and left.

It will be bad, very very bad and is time to pay the piper........where we had a bed of roses we will now have a bed of nails......where we used forks we will now be using spoons because we will want to grab every last grain........................................I only wished that I could show you what is it like in Cuba and then make you understand that here it will be ten times worse than there, it does not have to be that way but where in Cuba we all share the little that we have here in the states it will be dog eat dog.

To bad you all do not have tumble weeds. ;D

Edit: All kidding aside I feel bad for the people on the gulf that depend on
it for their livelihood.

Businesses closing around here, too. The weird thing is, though, some new places are opening. A new sports bar just opened where a wine bar failed 6 months ago.

Another strange trend I am seeing, is restaurants and gas stations closing, and bank branches opening in their place. That's what we need, more banks. LOL

The city next to my town has been growing banks ALL over the place, Its not , but it feels like their is one on every block. and all less than 0-3 years old. So far as locations go.

Seeing many more homeless bums around town. As if some other state is shipping them here in boxcars or buying them one-way Greyhound bus rides. This new crop is dirty and travel in packs.

I've seen the banks take over a spots that were former gas stations. Most of that has to do with location. Prime corner spots are hard to come by in small neiborhoods.

One location was first a bank, then a gas station and then a different bank in the span of about 3 yrs.

Sports bar for wine bar is a no brainer move imho.

The worst parts of town here are the parts where niqqers have moved in. Shuttered businesses, run down section 8 apartments, crime, delapidation..... all the result of a niqqer infetation.

It's a sad cycle. Niqqers ruin the places they inhabit, but see how nice the white side of town is, and thanks to libtard niqqer-loving policies, these beasts can move into the white side of town and then they destroy that area. The whites slowly move out, and the black beasts follow them wherever they go as the cycle repeats.

Niqqers are far, far worse than any economic depression. They ARE an economic depression. They destroy property values and neighborhoods, and entire cities - wherever they go.

So no, here in my Midwestern town I haven't seen many businesses shutting down from the economic calamity, but I do see lots of businesses and neighborhoods shut down when niqqers infest their area. Even the ragheads and asians in the area don't want to live by the black beasts, they want to live by whites.

The only ones that can stay open are mega chains because they can threaten to move so they get all sweetheart tax breaks and expemtions can handle while the mom and pops are left to crash and burn.

You will soon be left with corperate store A and corporate store B that are BOTH owned by the same multi national parent company.

The illusion of choice is still a powerful stimulant for profits.

People are Broke

With the exception of those opting for social security, some 7 million people who want jobs and once collected unemployment benefits, now have no job-related income.

Think those 7 million people are about to go on a spending spree? Think those forced into social security are about to go on a spending spree? Think the self-employed with no income are about to go on a spending spree? Think the 26 million unemployed or under-employed are about to go on a spending spree? Think the countless millions of working Americans barely scraping by are about to go on a spending spree?

Undoubtedly your repeated use of the ultimate verbal taboo will offend, but what you say is dismally accurate.

The lesser brained are associated with smaller awareness for difference between cause and association IMO.

But some cases I agree with their cause concept. It is degenerate poster posts that are turning this site into a slum with members leaving both left and right.

Such BS will stand , help kill the site, and ultimately favour the criminals in charge until this site follows The Golden Rule, or it may be The Silver Rule (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Rule).

Regardless letting this shat stand does not support gold-silver [rules] us. I keeps the elite fiat in power. ;D

The Golden Rule promotes positive actions and deeds, whilst the Silver Rule prohibits negative ones. As such, the Silver Rule may avoid some criticisms of the Golden Rule, which could be interpreting as suggesting that one should do things to others which they don't want done to them, just because one wants them done to oneself. On the other hand, the Silver Rule can be criticized for being too easily satisfied, and hence insufficient to base morality on, if it never requires us to engage in acts of benevolence, assistance, but merely to refrain from acts of belligerence.

Update: The sports bar went under a few weeks ago, too.
