I used to be quite Francais fluent. Spent several years in Quebec on the Baie James project.

My first foray into the French language was learning to say the most important phrase:

I don't speak one lick of French and I've never bothered to learn to read it either. Curiously enough, however, I can roughly translate all of the French posts made in this thread. I suppose it is due to my background in Latin?
