Who ever you are you are BASTARDS. :CS

:redfc :redfc :redfc :redfc :redfc :boom

I had 4 cayenne pepper plants, these were the little guys. All of them were full of bright red just ready to dry peppers.

2 days ago I went around and picked what red peppers I had besides these 4 plants. All are drying nicely in my dehydrator. I left these 4 plants so I could dry them in the next couple of days. I didn't go out there yesterday. Today, I walked out and all four plants were gone. They pulled all four plants. I didn't see anything else missing that could have been picked. They left ripe tomatoes on the vine too.

Them F^*(S!

Up until this day I had not have any issues with thieves. But cayenne peppers?
Who in the hell steals cayenne peppers?

Anyone else who lives intown ever had an issue with pepper thieves?

Youall live down south in Texas ;D

:lol

Edit: In the past have had pepper plants disappear
Jalapeņos and cyan and bells have disappeared.

Not sure if any critters like and eat them?

No, I'm not that far south. Granted our latino flavor has had an increased intensity over the past few years.

There is a 2 day window you could have made it.

Or, you could be the ring leader of a bunch of cayenne pepper thieves spread out all over the country. Hmmmm.

I'll be keeping an eye on you.

The bears in my garden went after my hot peppers. Looks like they took a few bites and then spit them out. The variety wasn't too hot, maybe a little hotter than a halepino. Good for the beastards...

The rabbits really like the fresh green shots of my peppers. Those buggers ate off a lot of them.
No real bears around here skid.

Only "Polar Bears" I guess. :oo-->

Well your garden should be safe, as polar bears are fully carnivorous. However, be careful as they may want to take a bite out of you!

I would suspect a deer.

Of the 2 legged variety.

The total was six swiped. I didn't notice the other 2 for about another week. They broke these off. I am guessing that that the roots were strong enough to keep from pulling the whole plant.

I was gonna say "Who steals pepper bushes?" but I think Sirgonzo has the answer to that. hahaha

That's a real bummer though.

I have been thinking of putting up signs on the garden that say something along the lines of

Experimental variety #1156-2A
NOT FOR CONSUMPTION

Think that would work.
