Happy Friday -

Every Friday brings a new set of opportunities

* Lies from the state government
* Lies from the federal government
* Politically damaging information
* and of course BANK FAILURES

Last week saw another skunking as the FDIC chose to embrace magical thinking once again (technically all of the banks are now insolvent because of the title mess).

To limit political damage, it looks like the FDIC is being (...... metaphor deleted .......), not that there's anything wrong with that.

How many go down today? For the Ruprick (aka tie breaker) choose as state to be recognized!

Good luck!

I pick 2 this week. Georgia for the bonus bragging rights.

My thinking is, the public has a short memory, and in the "right circles" the BHO way has to look like they are keeping current and vigilant. Besides, if they don't make more sweetheart deals in states where extra assets can be flipped into campaign coffers, such as Georgia, where "they" gonna get the moolah?

Since the FDIC has been slacking off for the last few weeks, then everything should return to normal. There will be 3-4 bank failures today and Tennessee is the winner.

I think they need to hold off a bit, don't want people to panic. 1 or 2

Let's see how things go -

It looks like the mere threat that the US was about to start a hot Currency War with China made the dollar jump (and gold drop - bastards!)

good luck
