I have had days in the past few months like that. You can't point to one thing and say- "this is the cause of the doom". There are MANY big things you CAN point to, yet everything keeps on strumming along. I encounter people who even say they think the economy is getting better and we are "coming out of it". But we all know better.

Many of you do not place any value in spiritual things. Within the next 8 months ALL of you will. Unfortunately, most of this world will be deceived by the wrong spiritual side. We are that close to things shaking out.

Maybe your spidey sense is telling you that we are in the gestation period of a horrendous beast that is about to walk openly on this earth. There is an entity behind all the evil we see.

I have much less sense of impending doom now than I did say 3 years ago when the markets were in freefall. Things are still volatile and as we all know it could be any day when something MAJOR happens, I haven't let my guard down I think I am just getting used to the new norm.

I also take solace in the fact that I have had years to prepare for it mentally and so if nothing else at least it won't come as a shock.

I've actually had a kickass week, just relaxing at the house sipping some jim beam.

It was a strong personal attack, and it was WAY over the line. I really feel bad for those guys who knew what was up when Brenton-Woods was revoked. They must have lived with this for 40 years.

Throughout history, TS has HTF every now and then. When it hits this time there will be a drop in human population like never before. The sad part is this SHTF is planned.

I did a Cajun marinade with equal parts Cajun seasoning, Lemon-herb seasoning, and black pepper. I used olive oil and lemon juice for the liquid part of the marinade. Yum! :D

It struck me odd when I was in the airport in Hartford CT last Sunday. The headline read something like: Connecticut is the Mecca of Same Sex Marriages.

This is the main heading of a Sunday paper!

I thought back what people would have said if this came out 50 years ago. They would have all cancelled their subscriptions and marched on the paper's headquarters. Today it is both accepted and misunderstood.

Think about all the contradictions in that title.

I have much less sense of doom than I have ever had, but I attribute it to being out here, having fun. I can't think of a better way to spend my final days - if these are the final days. Now that I've gone back over much of this thread I would almost be splitting hairs by attempting to seperate two different camps or mindsets that have been brought up here. First since this is a gold & silver forum, the majority here do prep, at least by saving in something other than just fiat paper.

Now the question is how far should one go in dedicating THEIR LIFE to preping and such?

I say it does not matter, so long as you're not at either extreme. The first being the do nothing class, that are totally unaware of a need to save & provide some provisions for tomorrow. The second being those who have done all they can and more, but obsess over the end times or a future cataclysmic economic breakdown to the point of worry and frustration that causes great strain in their lives.

Clearly we can't anticipate every scenerio that may come about, so why should anyone labor themselves to the point of mental anguish?

Another segment of this thread are some not adapting to, or accepting change as a constant factor in this world. Change will come, as it always has, the only question is whether you will adapt and assimilate or become extinct. Some here may be on there way to extinction just by way of excessive self induced stress.

I've had many of these feelings since the 1980s when I read my first issue of the old American Survival Guide Magazine. Each time I had a new revelation of how flimsy the house of cards really was, I'd get a sense...

I really feel bad for those guys who knew what was up when Brenton-Woods was revoked. They must have lived with this for 40 years.

Throughout history, TS has HTF every now and then. When it hits this time there will be a drop in human population like never before. The sad part is this SHTF is planned.

For mental stability, I prepare as if it will hit tomorrow, but figure it will hit in 20 years. Yeah, I'm more and more convinced it will hit within the next two years, but prophets have been predicting doom for 1000s of years. Only occasionally are they right.
I have been thinking the same thing, I am actually grateful that I didn't grasp the scale of the conspiracy until the last 3 years or so. Smaller limited conspiracies are easier to live with really, and I believe today there are a greater number of people who comprehend what is going on, so we are not so alone... Of course the great majority is still clueless, but we can find likeminded people on the Internet etc, and maybe even a few personal friends...
