The people on that "other" site will just find a way to put him in a bad light because of his skin color. You have to keep in mind that the posters on that "other site" (I cannot remember the name but it is NOT GIM2) think that ALL blacks are bad. In their world on that "other site", there is no such thing as a "good black".

In spite of the fact that the old black guy clearly risked his own life (not to mention that dying in such a manner would be the stuff of horror movies) to save that of a young white guy.

I doubt race had a f*cking thing to do with anything in this case. There would be no time to consider race before acting.

Just a cut and dried case of one person helping another. No more, no less.


ETA: unless of course, the whole scene was a well-choreographed stunt performed by professionals to serve some other purpose.

I'd like to think it was genuine heroism, but the cynic in me will always be suspicious of "unbelievable" news stories, especially when race is involved.

(Yes, this occurred to me upon waking in the middle of the night to pee... ;D )

Go to the subway, look at one of these trains as it's coming in, they are scary - all the noise, the brakes making all these noises, the sheer bulk and the size of the monster train is scary enough. Will run over you without even noticing.
Jump under that thing? 99% of people wouldn't.
