Had to change insurance companies because the last one dropped me because there was a glicth in their system.

I was beyond pissed because I had to scramble to find New Coverage on the Fly but ended up with a more cost effective policy From Progressive.

I was able to do everything online and fax so that saved me a heap of time and running around

So today is the first Time making the insurance payment since inital start up. I call a Customer Rep and after the bland verification process: Name, Policy #, DOB

I attempt to do a "regular" CC payment

Rep tells me Just give the last four digits on the card and Type.

I was kinda throw off by that because usally its the first 4

2 seconds later she say thank you for your payment.

Excuse me?? um dont you need the rest of the number??

No Sir your information has been encrpyted into or verification system and the payement went through.

oooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy yyy

Is there anything else I can assit you with sir??

No Mam that will be all.

I just want to alert you can get a even steeper discount if you enroll in our auto withdrawl program.

No, no I will just see how this works out for now.

Thank You for choosing Progressive.

Dayum I didnt know how Deep TIA was........

you're not kidding. i bought gas with my credit card about a week ago. being a gentleman, i also picked up a bottle of makers mark inside. i swiped my card, all went through, and when i looked at my receipt, my date of birth was printed on the receipt as age verification for the whiskey. how did that come off my credit card?

I'm not as I'm in Asia, and pay for ca$h for everything.

However, MS....I do have a few credit cards that a $0 balance that are active in case I get in a motorbike crash...

They probably do have all the info on me. But I haven't filed for taxes in about 8 years. I've forgotten, actually.

I never had a credit card until I got married and had kids. If I could go back in time I would never do it again....
