5 Gregg County Jail employees have been fired for reportedly using their tasers on each other.
Gregg County Sheriff Maxey Cerliano says he received complaints about misconduct among jail employees last week.
Investigators learned that jail employees were stunning each other with their tasers as a form of horseplay or initiation.
5 employees, identified as Corporal Michael Brown, Deputy Christopher Goodson, Cory Thompson, Justin Jacobs, and Christopher Lambert were terminated.
2 others, identified as Sergeant Ron England and Anthony Mugan, who admitted to using their tasers, were allowed to resign.
