I was told how to make this years ago by a mexican co worker

He called it "tuna ceviche" but its not really ceviche

I hadn't made it in a while and I just invented my own shortcut...came out pretty tasty :)

Drain tuna throughly (of course) drain Rotel partially. Mix together and serve on tostada shells topped with http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/414bPnAZQmL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Dinner is ready ;D

Looks good Ken. If you get over to the Mexican market(Cardenas in my area), you can find Dolores canned tuna spiked with either chiplotle peppers, jalapenos, or salsa for around 80 cents a can. It's my favorite backpacking food. Now my mouth is watering.

Im sure most of us know that tuna contains Mercury. Although we have lots of tuna in the pantry, we only eat tuna once a week....maybe 5 times in a month.

Milehi: thanks for the tip on the Dolores seasoned tuna. BumbleBee makes something similar. They have lemon-pepper tuna and some other varieties as well.

After scrolling through the first few posts in this thread, I fully expected to see Book posting pictures of cat food. Perhaps he is not online? Or lightening up and refining his game a bit?
