View Full Version : Fed pre- announcement smackdown day!

I have seen previously prior to a PM positive Fed announcement, that PMs tend to be smacked down hard, this happened for instance just before the extent of QEI was announced.

I wonder if it is a Rothschild pattern? They did it after Waterloo, before it was announced in London. Seems like it is happening today too...

I've noticed that too. More than likely but they have to be spending a boatload to suppress it so far so fast in a short period of time.

Yes but they probably play with the stop loss mechanism of others, where sales are automatically triggered when the price goes below a certain price, then they buy back...

Falling through the floor now... it could break the momentum and give us a significant dip.

I just swapped my platinum for silver at the first drop to $24.38. Darn, silver is now below $24. That swap I made a couple weeks ago wasn't worth it. I should have just hung on to the silver. Oh well...

hehehe. Well it's at goldmoney.com vaults. Plus it was only a small fraction of the silver that I own (the rest is in my physical possession).

It's ok, once the Fed announces their plan to buy trillions of US Debt, metals will see new highs quickly.

Is it a good day to trade some extra FRNs for the shiny shiny?

given that the smackdown was entirely predictable, what's more significant here is that it was entirely non-effective. we're down less than 1% on silver. makes me start to believe the KWN blog entry recently that asians are buying any and every dip. and that the cartel are on the point of failure, though i am sure that they are the largest owners of real gold in the world on the quiet.

fucked up world eh? ha i reckon the collapse is soon, at least.
