As many of you know, tomorrow (2010-11-09) is a triple transposition of 2001-09-11, and also happens to occur on the same day (Tuesday). Our dear and loving overlords ( :sarc: ) are overly fond of numerical games, and this one seems cool enough that it might just be irresistable to them.

Any bets on whether or not they will let this opportunity go unused? ;D

Kind of... but it's more of an investment than anything. Cotton commodity prices are WAY up, and the increases haven't passed on to the retail level yet... I'm expecting a big increase in all cotton clothing soon, didn't want to be caught with my "pants down" when it happens! ;D

I bought the socks, silver, and .22LR ammo during the same trip to town, along with a few more food storage items. I've had this "11-9" thing buzzing in my head for a week or two now... I had a VERY BAD feeling about things a few weeks ago (posted about it on another thread here...) and the last few days have felt kind of "highly charged" if that makes any sense. Figured I'd do some last-minute prep shopping just in case something DOES happen this week, and if it doesn't then at least I've turned some more rapidly-becoming-worthless FRN's into something of long-term prep and/or trade value.

Funny thing Gaillo, I just spent $10 on the 10/20/10 webbot report and literally just finished reading the 38 page report.

From THEIR interpretation, we're going to have a financial crisis. But they said it would start around the 8th, funny thing, since yesterday FED Reserve officers have been fighting and disagreeing openly with the Ben Shalom Bernanke decision. They talk about bank holidays, dollar collapse etc. I'm taking my pistol with me where ever I go starting tomorrow. ;)

I like the volcano idea but it would drag shit on longer plus it would likely kill many innocent and make the dollar stronger wiping out our ag/au gains.

I'm going to drop a computer off and get paid, on the way back I will get more dry goods and sox and 2 half gallons of vodka just in case I get thirsty. So if you can't understand anything I type that's your heads up. Unless I get any orders for work and in that case ignore this paragraph.
