The law is only applicable to those that follow it. Last time I checked that didn't include the Federal government. Any decision rendered today that seems legitimate and upholds the 2nd will still continue to be challenged tomorrow. Eventually, through wearing down the argument backed by unlimited legal resources they will prevail. It will do nothing to eliminate guns - there are just too many out there - but it will be yet another excuse to flex their fiat legal authority with sweeps and state-sanctioned murder. As for the National Guard: weekend fat boys will never disobey orders when they get to use a herd mentality to attack prey. They only thing incumbent on civilians at that point is which caliber to use.

It can't be repealed? How does that work. We can add or change anything in the constitution. Why couldn't a little old "Act" be changed or dissolved?

Did a little research, or tried to anyway, and cant find nothing on the Dick Act of 1902. Only thing I came across was a post that stated the Dick Act of 1902 didnt go through..................it was stopped in the House.
A seperate Dick Act of 1903 appeared to go through, but I havent confirmed it yet. Appears, third hand source anyway, that the 1903 act wasn't even close to what the 1902 one was about.
