Or dip....Or should I call it a correction ?

Well? how bout it?

Was that the heathy dip that was needed before silver's rise to 30 bucks??

And wow...PLATINUM and PALLADIUM took some pretty good hits today too.

I'm wondering if the margin requirement changes will affect all commodities for a spell.

The miners really didn't reflect this bashing today.

How much did Apmex lower price?

we took a beating today, ken. Smackdown city. Don't worry, we'll be right back up before you know it!

I like to see silver do well...but when I see it go down thats good too, cause its another chance to buy again and lower my DCA :)

Is it still a beatdown when the $1.70 drop still leaves it over $2.00 higher than it held for a while? :conf:

Thats a good question..

Even though silver is down about a buck since Friday when I made a purchase...(SAE's)
the price has only gone down about 25 cents each :-\

I don't think it's a beat down until it goes down below where I bought it. ;D

SAEs prices haven't budged on Ebay. So much for the paper spot price.

This wasn't a beat down or even a correction, just very minor profit taking to close out the week. The smack down is when you see it hit $19-22.

Today:

My Canadian mining portfolio is down: 4.03%
My US mining portfolio is down: 6.45%

I have a mix of junior and senior mining stocks as well as some silver and some gold and one rare earths.

That roll of 20 SAEs sold for $661, $33 per SAE. Sweet. ::)

The question is: Are you going to sell your paper for this metal?
