We're talking DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM people. With the zionists in complete control of the MONEY and this GUBERMENT when do YOU expect DOOM? And when I say DOOM I mean another FF, which will lead to Martial Law etc.
DOOM, BITCHES, IT'S COMING.

To me, doom is the controls by government stripping me of God-given rights. At that point, I operate outside the system entirely... not using money, not owning anything. That point is likely to be reached before the end of 2011... probably sooner.

I think it will go longer than 6 months. As soon as the entitlements run out, that will be the epoch moment. Maybe a year from now, fall 2011.

Doom is coming? Good. K-os eats Doom for breakfast, so it'll all be gone.
Nothing to worry about.
In all honesty though, I expected Mad Max SHTF about a year ago, so I don't know what to say, other than I believe they are behind schedule.

2003 Power Blackout - As many as 265 power plants succumbed to the cascading effect leaving at least 10,000,000 people in Canada and 40,000,000 in the U.S. without electricity. Some households and businesses didn't not get power back on for six very long days. This laid the groundwork for the largest blackout in North American history.

Wow..."Never" is the most popular answer :o ???
I would never have guessed that would be the case here on this forum. :-\
I want to clarify my never vote though.
I have a couple hundred pounds of rice and beans, a couple dozen #10 cans of wheat berries,a couple huge bags of flour and sugar in ziplocks and buckets, couple dozen pounds of pasta vacuum packed, at least a hundred cans (probably more) of canned food in the extra pantry. Lots of ammo and fuel stacked too.
Just to name some of the stuff I have "just in case"
Do I Think S will HTF soon?
:dunno
I like...and tend to think...it won't...
My grandparents were silver (and gold) Stackers.
And they alway had a bunch of canned goods in the basement pantry.
I like the feeling of having that stuff too. :)

Well, did you ever look 'round
And get the feelin' you're fallin'
And then you're hearin' a sound of a name
That somebody's callin'
Well, hey, people
Now don't you think that I'm stallin'
Well, there's man at the backdoor
He's waitin' for you to allow it
And he'll be comin' inside
No use for you to try and block it, hey
On occasion you'll find
You're in a sweat and you don't know why
And it's naggin' your mind
You get the feelin' like you might cry
Well, cool it, people
No need to feel like you might die
It's just the man at your backdoor
He's tryin' to get into your head
And he'll be patiently waitin'
Waitin' around 'til you're dead
Oh, yeah, yeah
Talkin' 'bout a man that's as cold as ice, yeah
He got candy in his hand but daggers in his eyes, yeah
Well, his feelin' is cool, oh, his voice chills to the bone, yeah
He'll try makin' a move so be careful when you meet him alone, hey
Oh, some mornin' you'll see
Just what I been talkin' 'bout
And you'll believe you are free
Because you think you've got it all figured out
Well, good Lord, people
Call to me if you know
Because your man at your backdoor
Will never let you go
Well, he's a stubborn old dude
Won't want to ever let you alone
Want more?

Hey Book, regarding the great blackout, I was living and working in NYC when it happened. I've lived in or around NYC for most of my life. The 2-3 days most were without power was one of the best memories I have of NYC. I have never experienced a more polite and helpful NY. It was really something to see on the ground.
I'm sure it would be completely opposite should it have gone on longer, but for the time, it was some of the best times in NY.
Everyone was outside, BBQing in the street or rooftops. Everyone acted as a friend. I didn't see one fight. The shutting down of all that electricity seemed to have lifted some of the fog from people's brains.

Yes! Most people when thrown together are good at heart, For those that were in the military, ever notice that when first meeting another in uniform, there was a bond and off you would go together for the good or worse? There was a connection because of a unspoken bond?
Yes there are ass holes or to say it another way, take one hundred people that get along, but then throw one a-hole and then everything gets spoiled and things go to shit.
Just saying

Right on DMac!
I think most people are good, and when something bad happens, that good shines. The good comes out of people.
This is why I don't think "doom" will happen. TPTB are about control, there's no way they will allow that good to come out because they will lose control. If doom happens, it will localized to certain cities, or even states perhaps...there's no way they could control doom across the whole country.
They are about whittling away at us, bit by bit. I think of the wooden indian at a local tobacco shop in my area, that I drive by. Out front, standing proud. That wooden indian stands proud, as we used to be. There's a tooth pick left now, we've been whittled down that far since our country has been founded. People don't see it, TPTB don't want us to see it. If doom happens, people will see it though...and that can be a good thing.

Google Geneforce 3000 Watt
Mouse
22nd November 2010, 04:22 PM
On the "generator" my criticism is this:
You are paying $12,000 up front for a unit that can only supply 3000 watts.
It will not output 220v so if you have a well or air conditioner, forget it, or if you need to weld or run shop equipment.
The unit will only run for about 12 hours at half load (1500 watt/hr). That's one hair dryer. The stats on the equipment site are BS and all they are running is a small dorm fridge and a couple flourescent lights.
Once the unit is out of power you have to have power to recharge it. That can be solar or from a genset, or from a car.
The unit only can recharge so many times, and if you use it heavily (e.g. more than 20% discharge) you significantly reduce the number of cycles the unit will tolerate. I think it said it will only handle 270 or 720 - cycles if you really use it hard.
The unit does not appear to be serviceable - when it fails you shell out another 12k.
You could get/make a battery bank out of serviceable and repleaceable batteries, get the voltage controller and several solar panels to charge it with for probably less than 12k that would support more storage than this unit.
For 3500 bux you can get a propane/gas or dual fuel genset that puts out 15kw. Then you could buy a battery/solar solution with the rest of the money that is serviceable.
This geneforce is the solution for your dentist office, not your BOL. It won't work for an outtage of more than a couple days if you really are nice to it, then you got NOTHING.
So - IMHO, it's a very stupid equipment investment.
