My, my, my.

What a world we live in where men are relagated to a servial position in society.

Neutered in a world where the threats of financial ruin through divorce courts.

Fueled womens compulsion with materialistic goods and an inflated sense of worth.

I believe one of the outcomes of the dollar paradigm collapse we will see the rise of the real man.

When the debt world collapses, real men will be the ones that adapt and profit the first.

Real men will do what is necessary to survive and thrive.

They will be seen a very valuable and cherished assets once again.

They will be those that DO things that have value.

They will be the center of the family again as women will be forced back home to take care of the family since most of the jobs they do are related to the debt paradigm.

Real men do jobs that are physical and produce real value. And yet in the debt paradigm these jobs are not valued because they do not produce more debt.

Mechanics, farmers, blue collar workers of all sorts will be in heavy demand as we set about to rebuild our world as the old one dies.

Real men, your day is coming.

These commercials are hillarious, but it's important to see how it portrays men as being weak and pushed around by women.

What if the gender roles were changed around? You'll never see a commercial where a woman gives a guy an ugly sweater as a present, and she get's sent into the kitchen for it. That would not be politically correct, yet men can be punching bags by the media. It's not fair that way.

yes men are f*cktard stupid waste of space losers who don't know how to pander to selfindulgence. A man is grateful to receive a tool at every gift giving opportunity, which is a functional device that enables him to perform a task without hiring a 3rd person to do the job and minimizes the effort involved... like drilling a hole without using a brace and bit. However......

Yeah it's kinda like those commercials you see where there is a leak in the roof and the woman asks "Honey did *you* fix the leak (or roof or whatever she calls it)?" and he says "yes" and she says "I thought so.." and then a piece of the ceiling falls down. I can't remember exactly what the commercial was for but I think it would drive away customers. If I was a man, that commercial would not make me want to use their service.

One day when roles reverse maybe we will see a commercial with women in the dog house.

And the only way out is the 3 B's...

Breakfast in bed...

Back rub...

and BJ. :D

But I digress...

This is another example of divide and conquer.

Instead of men and women working together to get to the source of their problems, the elite's system of debt, we fight against each other as the Banksters laugh.

Bring on the collapse.

I think it's really a societal cultural issue. The definition of value and success has been clouded. Having going from white collar work to blue collar work, I can definitely tell you that people treat you differently. If you are wearing nice clothes, and tell them you are a network administrator, you get treated a lot better. You also tend to impress others.

When I tell folks what I do now, I tend to get the deer in the headlights look. Or they assume it's not skilled work. But, I helped build a bridge, the same bridge I cross to go to work. I had a small part in a big operation.

The running joke at my work, is that we look homeless. The job is just so rough on our clothing. Lot's of funny stories....one guy just wanted to get a newspaper. He was asking folks for change, and they kept giving him dollar bills instead. Nobody would believe he just wanted a couple of coins to get a newspaper. He finally gave up. I had the guy in front of me buy me coffee once. He kept insisting, I finally caved because I didn't want to insult him. Another guy was being treated like crap from a young clerk. Once he pulled out his I phone, she did a 180 and started treating him better.

It would be nice all work is valued by society. I think you are right SS, that as things get worse, working with tools will be valued a lot more than it is today.

Agree with both viewpoints, most men are bigger and stronger, Imho a man that hits women and kids with a fist or slapping is not a man as I was raised to believe what a man should be. The one thing tho with kids, is I do believe in capital punishment for kids that do wrong, I have had my fair share of taking my licks with a belt when guilty, when much younger. But never and I mean never fists or slapping should be condoned.

It's a lot quieter that way.

Slapping? More women need to learn how to do a rear naked choke, throw em down and have wild sex, then you could get em to do what you want them to. ;)

My other favourite book is: "Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul" by John Eldredge. It talks about how males can become real men. Extremely challenging book, but so rewarding. If only I knew then what I know now. :)

http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Heart-Discovering-Secret-Mans/dp/1400202817/

John Eldredge:

God designed men to be dangerous, says John Eldredge. Simply look at the dreams and desires written in the heart of every boy: To be a hero, to be a warrior, to live a life of adventure and risk. Sadly, most men abandon those dreams and desires-aided by a Christianity that feels like nothing more than pressure to be a "nice guy." It is no wonder that many men avoid church, and those who go are often passive and bored to death. In this provocative book, Eldredge gives women a look inside the true heart of a man and gives men permission to be what God designed them to be-dangerous, passionate, alive, and free.

1 Corinthians 7:26 - 28

26I think then that this is good in view of the present distress, that it is good for a man to remain as he is.

27Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be released. Are you released from a wife? Do not seek a wife.

28But if you marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have trouble in this life, and I am trying to spare you.

She told me I shouldn't use the little hose attachment because something else yada yada yada. Later that night I explained to her that she was nagging me over the way I vacuumed.
