Fine, then what's next ?

scans and pat downs at the greyhound station for traveling by bus ?

at customs ?
when boarding a train ?
in governmental building ?
before entering a gun free zone ?
to get access to a free speech designated area during a manifestation ?
for entering in a bank ?
for entering a stadium ?
for entering a FEMA camp ? ( OK that one was just :sarc: )

This one can see!

I still like the idea of having a movement that calls all the airline reservation numbers and ties up the agents with fake bookings. Get enough people to burn 15 minutes of agent time each and cancel at the last moment X number of callers and it would send a message. No need to submit to pervert-scans to make your point and it hurts their bottom line, which is the only language they will understand.

What are they talking about? You're not allowed to simply refuse and walk out of the airport? Once you buy your ticket, if you get cold feet about starring in your own private porno, they FINE YOU?

YEAH RIGHT.

Anyone who flies in the USA today is a sheep and has no respect for himself or the US Constitution. If you are a businessman who 'must' fly, I suggest you change your means of transport, find another line of work, or better yet, quit and drop off the grid. Do not feed the police state.

ACLU = controlled opposition working for ZOG. Thye sound like appologists for the TSA.

Sure, I'll just drive from Los Angeles to Detroit and back during my holiday week off. Makes sense to me.

"While we respect that person's beliefs, that person's not going to get on an airplane."

Clearly we are dealing with a state religion here. "Submit to sexual assault or exploitation or we will fine you (make you pay tribute)."

TSA: Travelers Who Refuse Scanning Can’t Leave, Will Be Fined
Passengers 'Can Not Just Decide to Leave'
by Jason Ditz, November 19, 2010

Faced with the prospect of large numbers of people refusing the invasive “screening” measures they’ve implemented this holiday season, the TSA is hoping to fight back with threats of fine and arrest.

“Once a person submits to the screening process, they can not just decide to leave” warned Sari Koshetz, a TSA spokesperson. TSA officials say that anyone refusing both the “full body scanners” and the “enhanced pat down” procedures will be taken into custody.

Once there the detainees will not only be barred from flying, but will be held indefinitely as suspected terrorists, face fines of up to $11,000 and may also be turned over to local police. One sheriff’s office said they were already preparing to handle a large number of detainees and plan to treat them as terror suspects, held until they are convinced they don’t pose a terror threat.

The TSA genital “patdowns” have led to threats from some local prosecutors to charge them with sexual assault, but the TSA has shrugged off public outcry over the measures and seems more intent than ever on cowing the public into submission.

I'd love to hear the articulable probable cause coming from a Sheriff's deputy regarding a clear-cut and substantial violation of the law. They've literally got people by the short hairs on this one. More business for the attorn-eys.

I agree. The answer is do not get on a plane and fly if you do not want to get scannned or "fingered" by the TSA. I have NEVER been on an airplane and I will NEVER get on an airplane. If it takes me 12 hours to drive from point A to point B, then so be it. For me, it's very simple. It's either 1.) I will drive or 2.) I am not going to that destination.

So much for an oversewas trip! Of course if it takes a week by ocean liner, so be it. ;)

I am not worried about it because I do not plan to travel overseas. :)

Terrorists will be defined as those trying to smuggle gold and silver out of the country ("Attempting to leave with wealth"). That's what this is really for - and we know the time is close at hand when gold and silver shine - and they try to pull a Nixon and keep the gold within the borders.

How long until they establish State-To-State border crossing checkpoints?

That would not surprise me since gold and silver are seen as "enemies" of the U.S. dollar.

That's what this is really for -

What it's really for is to make you think they are doing something to up security. It's really a shell game. The peanut is actually the hundreds or thousands of employees who, with initial security clearance, come and go as they please, while packing planes with cargo, and have access to most if not all parts of the airport.

It's too bad there's not a real-life version of those puking pastilles from the Harry Potter novels.

It would be hilarious if a bunch of us chose to travel on Thanksgiving and act provocatively in order to solicit a pat-down, swallow one of the candies and start vomiting all over the agent mid-pat.

The claim from the TSA is a civil claim and not a legal claim. This makes it a contractural issue not a law enforcement issue. The breach of contract clause or "fine" is $11,000.00. Passengers need to reserve their rights before commencing the screening process. This reservation needs to be recorded either on video or in writing at time of commencing the process.

Earlier reports of people resisting this screening process were told they would be sued civilliy if they left the airport before completing the screening process. It was posted here just a little while ago.

they already have them in some borders.

e.g. 5 south from Oregon into California, all vehicles are stopped. the ocifers claim to be looking for plants & homegrown produce. when i got stopped there about October 10, i asked, "what are you looking for ?" the ocifer said, "homegrown produce" - sort of with a smile on her face.

but my truck didn't smell skunky and they let me go on my way. i told them all my "produce" came from Safeway.

so it was kind of funny because the ocifer used the term "homegrown", at a vehicle stop during the height of the outdoor marijuana harvest season.

the year before, i had a teeny evergreen seedling from Washington state, at the same crossing. it was sitting on my dashboard in potting soil. they confiscated that.

officially i guess they're looking for moths or agricultural pests.
