The shorts are having a dickens of a hard time keeping the price down. Today has been a tremendous day for the longs and the shorts must be pulling their hair out over the stubbornness of the price to be pushed down.

Just look at how short-lived that "smackdown" was.

Nope - JPM will just give everyone 5,000 SLV certificates each and thank them all for playing.
About one week later the phone conversation heard in JPM's office will be something like...
"Oh, SLV could not fulfill its obligation - wow, that is horrible, guess you'd better contact the courts.
....
No, read the COMEX rules, we discharged our obligation legally.
....
I'm sorry sir (ma'am) but using that kind of language is non-productive."

i would think JP Morgan would call their co-workers at the PPT and ask them to "stand down", and to let the stock market crash a little bit.
which tends to push up the US$ index, which also tends to be when gold & silver downtick.
normally the Comex options expiry is one day, and the other options expiries are the next day. this week it's the 23rd for Crimex, and Friday the 26th for the others.

The last 3 trading days have had basically 3 identical overlay charts. Interesting......and by interesting, I mean they are screwed. ;D

Nov 18 was quite similar, but not as pronounced. I think they are gonna have their hands full on the December contract.
I'm investing in toilet paper tomorrow......I can see damand going up dramatically over the next month.

Make sure to sell your t-paper on the spike because after the crimex paper contracts show their true worth your investment will lose value.

I guess toilet paper comes in handy when your shorts are getting creamed.

Having t paper is better than creaming in your shorts!. (messy)
They that hold physical are laughing their ass off at the paper holders.
Thank you Ponce!

The December contract is what Jim Sinclair is got his big prediction hanging on.
What is it something like $300 away from his prediction?
If the default happen this could happen very quickly.
Silver is the one to watch.
I have heard every dollar rise in silver is a Billion $ margin call on the shorts...
But the real fireworks will be when they cannot deliver what they trade.

I decided not to invest in tp.....the way I figured it, even though I'm sure there will be a lot of wiping going on in December as the short positions get hammered, there is such an over abundance of useless paper already there, they will likely just make due with what they have. :D

I could not agree more. I've added to positions today. Put your sunglasses on.....fireworks in December should be pretty stellar.

It's funny that the term BILLION DOLLARS doesn't seem as much to me today. Look at all these daily POMO's by the Fed. I remember when I could buy a hamburger at McDonalds for 25 cents - back in 1992.
