They'd probably sell more if they made one painted in rainbow with dancing penises on it.

Since this is a budsgunshop exclusive I am to assume budsgunshop is a haven of masons?

Although Sig is my favorite semi-auto combat handgun, I would shy away from current production Sigs. About 15 years ago Sig underwent a management change and introduced a much wider array of options, substituting quantity for quality. A gentleman named Cohen took control of the company and gradually replaced internal parts with metalurgically inferior MIM parts.

This is back door gun control. Cohen is of the same tribe as Schumer, Feinstein, Lautenberg, Cellar, Waxman and Boxer.

With a name like Cohen you can almost visualize corners being cut and money being counted.

Unfortunately Jews have infiltrated most of the major and many of the independent gun manufacturers and cheapened them. It's simply back door gun control and has nothing to do with profit.

I agree 100% with Hoarder, Sig Sauer USED to be THE finest combat handguns in mass production, but no longer. I wouldn't own one made since about 2004, personally... all of mine are 80's and 90's production folded-slide (not milled) models. Look for older All-German manufactured P226's, P228's, and (if you can afford it) P210's for some of the finest combat handguns ever made!

I have one Sig-A P556

Great piece.

Use a 20 round mag when I have it in the car.

If I'm not mistaken, the all German ones have a "W" stamped on the slide...is that correct?

Look for 2 letters stamped on the frame below the muzzle. Here is how you convert letters to numbers:
A=0
B=1
C=2
D=3
E=4
F=5
G=6
H=7
J=8
K=9

A "JK" would be made in 1989.
Be aware that if the slide says "Made in Germany", in some instances it only applies to the slide. They mixed parts during conversion years. Earlier ones say "Made in West Germany"
