I know, I know, it's unusual for them...
But I still get a laugh out of the "treacherous" driving conditions causing the "nightmare journey" and the temperatures that have "plummetted" to -6. The "EIGHT INCHES" in all caps was pretty funny too.
-6 celcius with 8 inches is a fairly nice day here...

Is this caused by the gulf stream shutting down, thanks to BP.
If that is the case then it is a frightening prospect for everyone.

Yes that's what was said last summer when Russia was having a heat wave and that England was going to get the coldest winter in a Thousand Years! People think that well is capped and all is good but I think the worst is yet to come.

Check out this reader comment - it's a perfect summation of where we are today:
Ice cores & ocean sediment cores indicate a regular pattern of Ice Age advances & retreats that correlates with the pattern of earth's orbital relationship with the sun. The evidence shows that the earth should now be at the end of an 11,000 year-long warm period & now due to enter another Ice Age. That situation was announced by climate scientists during the 1970s, & it has never been disproved; in fact, the Vostok (1993-1996) & EPICA (1996-2005) ice cores, as well as other data, have confirmed the regularity of the Ice Age cycle & its relationship to the orbital cycle.
The ice core data shows earth's CO2 level rising & falling in response to the temperature -- proving that temperature drives CO2, & that CO2 is not a significant 'greenhouse gas'. The ice cores show that earth's CO2 level always peaks at the end of a warm period between Ice Ages, such as we are experiencing today. It's bad science & bad policy to prepare for Global Warming when we should prepare for an Ice Age.

Costa Rica has no army but only a security police.....US troops in Costa Rica are instigating the situation in order to have an excuse to invade Venezuela........the two countries had had some problem about a piece of land that lays between them but his has been going on for years, now the US are trying to use this as an excuse.
