I didn't think they had percussion caps 500 years ago. Weren't rifles limited to flintlock when the trappers went West?

From the comments I have pieced together that it was probably match lit 500 years ago, but they are using percussion caps for the demonstration

Yep would have been a Matchlock followed by Flintlock and the short lived wheellock before Percussion Caps. still very cool though thanks for posting.
