Another margin rate increase soon with paper silver hitting a low of 4.25 ozt but not a single ounce of physical available anywhere on the planet?

JP Morgan has a lot of short covering to do, and quickly.

I should be in bed, but I can't stop watching the price. Something about seeing it hit that $30 mark. I hope it's not down $2 when I wake up in the morning...

I think it's because we all want to see silver go home. $30 is home. I really like the Happy Gilmore approach to life and PM's.

We should all learn from this.

Let me describe what I've just seen, obsessively clicking the "refresh" button while viewing the chart.
For about 15 minutes, leading up to the hour, I saw the price continually hitting $29.90, then bouncing back to the $29.86-ish range. Then, suddenly, after about 7 or 8 iterations of this, the whole thing with the $29.90 "wall" suddenly VANISHED - and was replaced by a "smooth" upward curve. Clearly manipulated BULLSHIIT... now they've managed to kick it back to the $29.80 zone. Bastards.

It came within $0.04 of $30, though (right around 23:50... am I good or what! ;D)... and I'm still betting it WILL hit $30 tonight! ;)

They're punishing it now... $29.70.

Looks like it's "curve-fitting" Thursday night's prices, but about an hour earlier. If it continues to follow, we should see $30 silver in about 2 hours.

EDIT: They're punishing it BAD at this point... it's completely diverged from Thursday's curve, and on a downward trajectory. Looks like $30 might be out of reach tonight. Oh well, there's always tomorrow - what do I care anyway... I'm holding physical! :D

Silver is getting pushed down further this morning when I woke up. Currently at $29.56 as of 6:35 AM. I hope that I end up being wrong on this today but it appears to me that JPMorgan is going to win this battle (but not the war).

Silver has totally decoupled from the USDX. It doesn't matter if the USD goes up or down, silver is doin its thing.

I predict $30 by tomorrow.

When you think about it 30$ is a huge step up as I guess after that the sky is the limit so you cant blame silver for being a little shy around this area.

Already crossed that mark in OZ$ ;D

I picked up the phone and called Kitco to sell off my pool account. As I was on hold I thought of this thread and hung the phone up before selling.

Hee hee hee.

More proof that the game is just about over for them.
