Hello, GoD. It's me, k-os.

K, the woman who's stolen my heart, I would like that back, I'll need that in Europe. I'd guess that people might see this as an odd post. I'm simply asking, "Who are you", "Define yourself". Where the rubber meets the road, it's very hard to do. The only place to look, is within yourself, so you can define who and what you are.

I knew you were asking a deeper question. I just didn't have a deep answer to give you.

I know who I am, but I don't want to describe it to anyone. It's something you have to experience for yourself.

I do get why you and others don't describe yourselves. And in all honesty, I'd just love for people to think about it. I'm just talking about people reflecting on who they are. Personally, I'm someone that's good at his job, works the hours that he sets, spreds the truth, both financially and physically, and lives and dies by his heratage. I just want to be left the fuck alone, and will respect common law and at the end of the day, will be a man of his word, and will be know by his actions or inactions.

It's a good question to think about, General. I've pondered it many times. I'm just thankful to experience the gift of life, that's the conclusion I've come to. Everything I've experienced in life, I had good intentions about. Naivety yes, but thankfully no regrets.

It's good be be a man of your word. That makes each day worth it. Our values and honor is the rock of our existence, imo.

Heck, this may not be what you are looking for, but tonight I went out with some friends. I own my business, and try to present a professional front in the work I do. I take pride in it. In my business people think I have more class than I actually have. Anyway, we were getting free (very fine) wine. I was appreciating the taste, but I was drinking it a lot faster than the others-- I was a former Sergeant in the Marine Corps.

Anyway, they were asking me if I wanted more, and I adamantly said, "No." They thought I was being responsible. I just had the full realization if I had another drink, I'd really lay one on... I really wanted to, but those days are gone. I realized I could be a 95 year old man in a wheel chair but I'll always desire to play a rough game of basketball or tie one on at the bar...

There are two kinds of people in this world...
There those that want to be left alone and those that just won't leave you alone.

This very question, who am I, was posed to me back in Comp 101, and remains the hardest question I've ever asked myself. I remember that no one could even write one word, and the teacher knew this full well, so he sent us home with it, I spit something out, but I know it wasn't much, nor real. And we could not write anything about our occupation, as I took this course during night school.

Anyhow, we're very, very complex, and many different things to different people.

I don't see how anyone can give a clear and concise answer to this question.

But it is something worth considering.

At the end of the day, I would just hope to be a person who is proud of the decisions he has made in life. A person who returns favors to those who have helped me when my luck was down. And a person fixated on virtuous action that neither interferes with or violates the volition of another human being. That being said, who I am in reflection is just another broken man in a broken land trying to find a way to put the pieces back together.

Some believe that identification of oneself with ideas, traits, and features is not only false, but a hindrance:

I am a SAVED sinner, I was a child if disobedience but NOW a Child of God whose home is no longer here on earth but Heaven. I am an ambassador for Jesus Christ and am here to tell you to repent and trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour or face the lake of fire after you die.

NO LIFE is better...NONE and if you're still looking it's only becasue you have not been saved. You'll NEVER , EVER have true peace, joy and happiness outside of Jesus Christ. Stop fooling yourself and get saved as fast as you did when you woke up to PM's and started trading for them with fiat.

Maybe it's not a matter of who we are but rather who or what we seek to be. It also matters at what points in life we ask ourselves this question because the answers are always different depending on at what point you ask yourself for that definition. So, the question is moved from who do I want to be? to Am I who I wanted to be? It's a question we progressively ask ourselves time and again over the course of our lifetimes.

My interpretation is directed at my core being. That I live my life with integrity, honesty, truthfulness, to help and not harm, to stand for the things that are good and right and to fight those things that are evil and wrong. I will probably die a relatively ($$$) poor man but if I live up to the principles I have set for myself (ie, Who am I?) then I will consider myself immeasurably rich when that day comes.

Who am I? That requires a lot of "labels" - since vulcan mind-meld isn't possible. So, here goes! ;)

I am a clear-thinking, articulate, intelligent, freedom-loving, SHTF prepping, history learning, firearms nutting, silver stacking, porn collecting, technologically proficient, book reading, web surfing, gardening, mountain climbing, pipe-smoking, flute playing, survivalism practicing, movie watching, metals machining, philosophy studying, wine-enjoying, sci-fi fanatic, electrical engineering, atheistic, forum-moderating, amateur cooking, mechanism inventing, music listening, hot stud super-lover with a fairly over-inflated opinion of myself and all that goes along with that. Plus, I generally smell good too! ;D

In short, I'd say I'm the embodiment of GS-US members... all rolled into one... but without the superstitions or modesty. Take that, God junior Ponce! ;D

But WAY MORE than enough about me... how about all of you? :)

I'm a rebel.

I like things to be fair. Ever since I can remember I hated injustice.

I'm passionate about what I think and I enjoy thinking.

I love to laugh and enjoy making people laugh.

I like zigging when other people are zagging. (but I'm not some hipster counter culture douchebag)

I love going fast.

I am always honest with myself, my thought is at the very end of the day the only person on this planet that you can trust 100% is yourself, so you damn sure better be honest with yourself and with your assessments.

So at the end of the day I am my own man, I don't bow my knee to anyone on this planet, I do my best to make my thoughts my own and be as unbiased as possible on my quest for the Truth.

If you want to know more just ask.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My thoughts exactly mr General.

At this point in my life i really only want one thing. TO BE LEFT THE BLOODY FUC*KING HELL ALONE.

For you see, i have everything i need. I have a mind that knows no bounds. My mind cannot be bound by anyone or anything.
My mind is limitless. Unfortunatley my fellow man was apparently not born with enough of an IQ to understand this.
