Saturday is the last day of this sale.
Bumble Bee SOLID WHITE ALBACORE Tuna - $0.88 NO LIMIT - CVS B&M
CVS B&M stores have Bumble Bee brand SOLID white albacore tuna for $0.88 per 5-ounce can, with NO LIMIT. This is the stuff that is normally around $2.00 or a little less in grocery stores ... I stock up whenever I find it on sale for $1.00 (and there's usually a limit!), and this current price is the lowest I've ever seen. Last night I bought 21 cans at my neighborhood CVS, and I'll go back Saturday to see if they re-stocked.

Is this the "Corexit Marinade" style of tuna? ;D
Seriously, though... check the date and country of origin - $0.88 per can is not worth vomiting out your intestines over!

Just posting the deal from SD, people seem to think it's a good price.

I bought some today- but they started a new sale- $0.79 limit 10 cans at that price. I may go back tomorrow and get more.
Also, I sent an inquiry into Bumble Bee about where they harvest the fish.

UPDATE:Bumble BEE replied to my inquiry-
Dear Mr. Spectrism:
Thank you for taking the time to contact us about our Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna in Water.
Our tuna is harvested from designated FAO catch areas in international waters of the Pacific Ocean by licensed vessels. These are not harvested from the Gulf of Mexico. Because we source from open-ocean fisheries, risk for organic pollutants like those arising from oil pollution is low and we therefore do not routinely test for them.
Based on the can code submitted, the fish was processed in July 2010.
Thank you again for contacting us.
Thank you,
Bumble Bee Consumer Affairs
