Greetings silver collector:
A silver-eating fungus, P. argentophagia, has been discovered on thousands of silver eagles. The fungus starts as a tiny black spot, the spore, and grows to a filamentous colony that consumes the entire coin in a matter of days. There is no silver residue as it is released as gaseous waste product of the fungus, silver chlorodioxocarbomite. The fungus shows optimal growth on .9993 silver, and lesser growth on pure .9999 silver, which is baffling. Junk silver is immune to the fungus. The fungus spreads via air-borne spores. The only way to protect your coins is to isolate them from an infected atmosphere. If you have a fungus-coated coin, it's granted that the atmosphere is crawling with silver-eating spores. You should mail your silver to the following address where it will be decontaminated, quarantined and returned to you some day.

The gold and platinum fungus is much worse. It can lie dormant and is invisible to the naked eye. Then out of nowhere, half your bullion is eaten away. Through countless hours of trial and error I has come up with a anti-microbial coating that not only kills the existing fungus but also protects from future infestation.
Don’t take chances. Send all your gold and platinum to me so I can fungus-proof your investment.

I just made a very important discovery. 1-oz '70's silver art bars are immune to this silver-eating fungus. I am sooooo happy that my '70's silver art bar collection is safe from the silver-eating fungus. :) If you have any '70's silver art bars in your stack, then you are safe from this fungus. ;D
I heard that the silver-eating fungus affects only gov't minted silver bullion coins. Maybe the SCAM agency can comment on this. :D

Don't be silly. Here are some of the workers, happily cleaning silver eagles for their rich American clients.

I have a solution to battle the silver-eating fungus. Here are the steps:
1. Get a can of Great Value carrots.
2. Get a blender.
3. Pour the great value carrots in the blender.
4. Get an 8-oz glass of orange juice and pour it into the blender.
5. Turn blender on to blend oj and GVC for 10 seconds.
6. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
7. Dip the affected coin into the mixture.
8. Wait 10 minutes.
9. The silver-eating fungus is killed and the silver bullion coin is saved.
10. Keep stacking silver and enjoy life.

I heard that immersing it in about 30' of highly salt water can protect your silver from the effects of this and other fungus's like the govtithephagia and the equally devastating confiscaphagia.

O Noes! I checked all my silver and didn't see any signs of the fungus, but just to be safe I shipped a few rather large boxes containing all my silver to your address Mamboni, I mean the address you provided. Whew! That could have been close!

Hey General, that sounds like a lot of FRNs and you might have sent them too many. Make sure that you give them your bank account number so they can wire the FRNs that they did not need back to you. :D

Some theorize that the fungus is a venereal disease.

can you kill the fungus by holding your SAE's under your armpit ?
not that you need a reason.
