just found out that the biblegateway.com that I use a lot has been acquired by Zondervan (http://www.zondervan.com/Cultures/en-US/Company/History.htm?QueryStringSite=Zondervan) in 2008.

Zondervan is a division of HarperCollins the same one that publishes Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible (http://www.harpercollins.com/global_scripts/product_catalog/book_xml.asp?isbn=0380015390), New International Version and such books as The Joy of Gay Sex (http://www.harpercollins.com/books/Joy-Gay-Sex/?isbn=9780060012748).

I was posting passages out of one of these on line Bibles on a well known Christian site in a debate.

They changed the passages on the online Bible.

I was using a couple Bibles all stating the same thing. Someone did not like the message so they changed the Bible. It could have been the gateway people that did this not 100% sure as it was sometime ago.

I WAS SHOCKED that they would just change the Bible like that!!

The changing of God's Word is as old as dust. Men will change what God said anytime they don't like what it says. Stick to the King James and you'll never go wrong. It was the Kings James I'm fairly sure they changed the words in. I stick to Kings James plus other texts.
