i know nothing about numi, but as i have my generic pile of silver "completed," i've been buying just random stuff i find interesting.

i keep seeing these on ebay:

are they really worth that much? i kind of like all of this stuff in packaging. it's amusing.

chad, I like those packages too and have some... but don't pay a premium for littleton coins... the two dealers I use think they are silly... I see them often on ebay for no extra premiums...

Many users on ebay put up kookaburras claiming they are proofs, when in fact, they are not. Case in point is the coin you linked to Chad. That isn't a proof.

In terms of pricing, for regular kookaburras (which I have some), I've always paid less than I pay for ASE or CML.

Proofs will trade above AUD $80.00. Regular kooks from the Perth mint at about AUD $39.00.
