from the shape of things report i downloaded in july it says in its language that fall into winter(2010) will begin upcoming ice age. freakish storms and such. also specific about flooding after in europe and displacement of population. superdome and current conditions around are example i'm proposing. go silver ;D

bah, there's been freakish cold weather related stuff every year i've ever been alive.
anyone named cliff who spells their name "clif" is a retard.

[Sept.16, 2009] Could it be true that global temperatures will fall before they rise? That's the thrust of a presentation at last week's World Climate conference. Mojib Latif of Kiel University in Germany suggested that cooling caused by natural factors could suppress global temperatures for several years, after which they will start to rise again.
Professor Latif suggested that the long-term warming trend could be masked - perhaps for as long as 10 or 20 years - by a temporary cooling caused by natural fluctuations in currents and temperatures called the North Atlantic oscillation. "Thereafter," he told the Today programme, "temperatures will pick up again and continue to warm."
Could Latif be right? Who knows?

[Dec.10, 2010] Data shows that the atmospheric pressure system in the Atlantic responsible for the current cold weather in northern Europe and heavy snow falls in the north eastern US has been in the same anomalous state for a record 14-month period and could indicate that a harsh winter is in store. Meanwhile on the other side of the North American continent the El Nino Pacific Ocean warming event has given way to a strong La Nina cooling cycle.
Similar Atlantic pressure systems existed around the northern hemisphere winter of 1968-69 which resulted in severe cold weather in both North America and northern Europe and also in 1962-63 which was a particularly harsh winter in northern Europe. This is the first time since then that there has been such a long unbroken anomalous period. If the pattern of those previous years is repeated then the coming winter could also be severe.
NAO CONTROLS FLOW OF COLD AIR
The atmospheric pressure system known as the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) consists of a high pressure area over the Azores and a low pressure area over Iceland. If the difference in pressures between the high and the low is large, known as the positive phase, then warm air is dragged north confining Arctic air to higher latitudes and contributing to relatively mild winter conditions in North America. And in conjunction with the warming effect of an El Nino, this can lead to exceptionally mild winters across the US and the south of Canada.
But in its current state, the pressure difference between the Azores high and the Icelandic low is relatively small and this means warmer tropical air is trapped further south allowing colder air to flow from the Arctic – in this situation the NAO is said to be in a negative phase. While the Pacific Ocean is currently moving into a La Nina cooling cycle.
According to climate scientist Chris Folland of the UK Meteorological Office the reinforcing link between positive NAO and El Nino providing mild winters is both well observed and understood. The potential linkage between La Nina and the NAO is less well understood and may not be as strong.

I believe here's the definition of a webbot:

I've seen this term tossed around here and there, and thought this might help others who may not know either.

Al Gore
The government parasites are attempting a new multi-trillion dollar expansion of protection racket promises that previously involved personal responsibility of acquisition of a warm water-proof jacket and shade on a hot day. ;D
The rest of the problems stem mainly from overpopulation a result of the time when their protection rackets wanted more to suck from.

It is hardly surprising that we have a harsh winter in front of us. Until last summer and 18 months prior to that sun spots have been exceedingly rare= low activity of the sun= colder temperatures of the earth, especially in areas that are dependent on ocean currents driven by the energy of the sun = record winters in northern Europe especially, which is not heated by the gulfstream as much as earlier...
