Of course that's in the news. Half the sheep will read this and say, "They should increase security gropes, Next time someone could smuggle something really dangerous, like a toenail clipper or a boxcutter."

What, so the guy decided to phone the TSA and let them know?

I think it's a fabricated story. No different than a business woman calling and saying "Oops, I forgot that I was wearing my shoebomb shoes that day! Just thought I'd let you know".
