Well Ponce it is only 14 degrees here, dreary looking and cold out. Looking after 5 grandchildren and doing tons of laundry and trying to clean house to get ready for a bunch of our kids to come home next week. Each day is a new beginning, I am just glad to wake up for another one! Blessings your way.
You are lucky to have a jacuzzy, I would hate to maintain one though.

Woke up from my nap and is snowing like hell, already about one inch of it, can't barely see the other side of the hwy.

I am now going to make a glass of hot chocolate and two slices of toasted bread with butter.....

Good thing you are prepped to the gills Ponce...just in case you get snowed in.

You have everything you need Inside so you don't have to go outside for anything?

It's raining at the rate of half an inch to an inch per hour for the last day. The roads are like rivers but I live on a mountain and the water is running downhill. I've harvested almost 200 gallons of water today.

I just received an email from a ski resort I frequent (Mammoth) that said they've had 6.5-9 feet of snow during this storm with three feet still expected. They're on track for the most snow in a December since they started keeping records over 40 years ago.

Water Shortage My ass

Well, the truth is that it would need to rain almost every day this winter to refill the lakes and stream in the western states where the great north-american desert spans thousands of square miles. The natural climate was never close to wet enough to support 30 million people with swimming pools and golf courses. This is made especially worse with the govts' spending all the money on counter-productive agendas and wars instead of water reclamation and conservation technologies.
