Merry Christmas!

I'm pretty sure Ms Bair has given her staff the next two weeks off - we had a pretty good year -

154 US banks closed (plus 3 in Puerto Rico) for a total of 157 -

The legendary Whoopsie (9+) closures was not reached, though we saw 8.

I think that next year we can look forward to more "extend, pretend, and flat out lie".

No bank failures today unless there are some dedicated FDIC workers that wanted to work today. :D Move on. There is nothing to see here. ;D
