Watching that video, I couldn't help but keep thinking "High Theatre". He was asked if he was afraid of extradition to the U.S. twice, and both times he replied something to the effect that it "was a problem" and talked about his lawyers. All the while, his face was indicating that it WASN'T a problem... he looked more bored than worried.

This interview does nothing but confirm my suspicions that he's a handled agent.
