Noticed this thread idea on another site, and thought it was great.
Did you receive or give any 'prep' gifts this year?
Husband got several tools, including one of those newer "dogbone" socket wrenches.
New pajamas, sewing machine, books here too. Not necessarily 'preps' officially, but always nice to upgrade.
And you?
P.S. Merry Christmas to one & all.

Hope for hubby they were not flannel ;D
Got myself a kindle and love it, can carry a ton of info and books in my back pocket (Not recommended it might break) ;D So in a pinch and have to dodge, Most of my info can go with me, ounces vs a lot of bulk and pounds. Plus got back into the rechargeable game when it comes to battery's the new ones are not any shape or form like the old ones, much much better!
And Merry Christmas to you and yours and may the next year be better for you and all than the last year!

Homemade jelly can last quite some time.
This thread has me anxious to see my family and exchange presents. Hopefully tomorrow. I'm sure there will be a prep or two given and received. :)

I gave led flashlights or multitools (or both) as gifts to the men /older boys. I let my wife do the shopping for the women ;D. I received the usual clothes mostly:( My mom did get me an Ulu knife from Alaska and an Alaskan seafood cookbook that she bought on a cruise there.

I gave out the large cans of Stagg Chili from Costco. Told them all in a note "Someday soon you will understand" and told them verbally, this might end up being the best gift you have ever received.
It was interesting.

I gave one american silver eagle for my friend's kid. He's 13 years old, never seen silver in any form anywhere before. I'm sure he'll be figuring it out later why I gave it to him, and I know he will, he's a bright kid.

Ponce? Just wondering why you got a dirt bike instead of a quad, four wheeler. No offense but as we get older our balance isn't as good.

The trails around here are very narrow and also with to many falling trees and stuff like that so that I can only use a dirt bike.......remember that this is only one of my plans, behind the plan, behind the plan that I talk about all the time...........and when I want to do some shooting wayyyyyyyyy back in the woods this is the only thing that will take me there..........I will be able to travel at about 10 mph.....if that fast.
