Advice........what should I do?.......by me.

They keep on up-dating my computer even if I don't want them to do it.........I keep pressing no, no, NOOOO but to no prevail..........any ideas?......I know that all that they are doing is to send me programs to spy on me more and more >:(

Click start, select run, type in 'services.msc' without the quotes, go into the menu there and select the "Service" tab. Disable every service that is non-essential.

The click start, select run, type in 'msconfig' without the quotes, click the 'Start Up' tab, and disable anything that is not an essential system driver. These are the programs that start with your computer - but why start them automatically? Just start them manually when you need them.

My computer doesn't even use the internet to check the time w/o permission from me first.

These two things, unless you have a root kit installed, remove most of the headaches you are talking about. There are ways to be more thorough but this is a solid start.

Good guide here. Ponce disabling only "Windows Updates" might stop what he is complaining about.

OK, went to "start" and then typed "services msc" than went to "automatic updates" and disabled that one, that should do it...........thanks a bunch.
