Singapore has deployed troops under the command of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force for the war in Afghanistan along with fellow Asia-Pacific nations Malaysia, Mongolia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Australia, New Zealand and Tonga.

WTH??? Tonga is about as far removed from power as a country (really a small group of islands) can get- there's not much in Tonga except the natives. Evidence the money powers will go to the ends of the earth for cannon fodder.

The pay rate is much higher if you are on one of these missions. For souldiers in places like tonga the increase in pay is massive. Sri Lanka usually have heaps of their guys in blue helmets for the same reason.

The Taliban had largely reduced poppy cultivation to near zero by mid 2001, so a 40,000% increase up from near zero wouldn't be that difficult to accomplish. And the fukking Marine in front of the camera doesn't get it which doesn't surprise me in the least.

Not only do they protect the opium fields for their masters they die for them as cannon fodder too.

Maybe that is why the economy is so bad. It's all by design to take away economic options for young men and women.

No economy? Join the army.

Die so the elite rich can get richer and more powerful.
