Securacom provided electronic security services for the World Trade Center. Other clients included Dulles International Airport and United Airlines. Marvin P. Bush, George W Bush's younger brother, was a director of the company. Wkikpedia states that Securacom had a contract from 1996 to 1998. Most other figures state that their contract was from 1996 to 2000.

Also, this "power downs" on the weekend before 9/11 is quite a coincidence.
