So we have a sex scandal (who doesn't like a good attention grabbing sex scandal eh?) combined with endless "super top secrets" to be told, and this is played like crazy in the mainstream media to a frothing boil.
Now we have some secrets about to be released about Israel...but only in 6 months from now. This should give all the useful idiots time to organize, and put up some secondary pressure while the strings keep pulling from the top.
