Mount Washington was literally hammered by snow last week. The resort, already famous for being the home of Canada's deepest snow, beat it's own record for a four-day snowfall.

"We've seen unbelievable volumes of snow here over the last few days," said resort spokesperson Brent Curtain. "Over 1.5 metres has fallen in one 24 hour period before Christmas and we've received over 2.5 metres of new snow in one four day stretch. I've never seen a start to the season like this."
