View Full Version : Glad this year is over. Grew revenue by 1% but had to work twice as hard.

I am closing down shop. I am proud to say that I met the goal to do better than 2009 in revenues, but I had to work twice as hard. If you are a math inclined person, you know that is a very losing proposition.

2011 will be the year that heads will roll. I don't have the energy to keep on the phones and working 16 hours days. I am taking my wife and kids to Colombia where the rest of my friends have setup a nice expat community.

GSUS thanks for being the only place where people like me can come to vent and feel right at home.

Happy New Year you all!

Good luck in your relocating adventure Billboard, it's one helluva trip and I think you'll dig it. Have you visited there?

As long as the net's up you'll still have this place to feel right at home.

May I ask what your biz was?

Good luck on the next leg of your adventure... I hope you'll stay in touch.

We engineer clean rooms, and general HVAC.

I did visit Colombia and although I am not fluent in Spanish, could move around quite well. My wife really loved it since all her friends are now living there and seem happy with the "American" colony they have established there.

Goood luck to you and much success. Unfortunately, America no longer rewards the hard working, industrious and ambitious young workers. Hopefully, you will find opportunity in South America. You are making a smart move for your family and the long term future of your children.

Take it easy on the yayo when you go down there... I hear it's a bit stronger down there.

Thanks for the well wishes.

I have some pictures from my trip down there, but they are too large to attach. I will see where I can host them so I can share them with you.
