No hair of the dog for me today. I woke up at 11am, ate some delicious pizza that Mrs. EE_ made, and crawled back into bed with the dogs. I slept for 20 minutes or so, then woke up so thirsty, I think I drank 2 liters of water.

Feeling a little better now, but still don't want a drink. Maybe tomorrow. :D

I went camping for the new year, stayed at a campground north of Malibu, took the dog marching through some tidepools this morning.

Last night I heated apple cider over an open fire and added honey schnapps (barenjager) or whiskey...

Sausages...eggs...iron skillet over a campfire...

It's my tradition to always go camping on new years. I can't imagine spending it any other way.

Was out looking at the stars, moons of Jupiter, Orion nebula and stuff with a friend who owns a telescope, had a few wines...not too many.

Mrs. Old yelled at me for coming to bed "late" at 10 p.m.

I gave up staying up until midnight around age 20, it kind of ruins the next day and who wants to do that in order to watch a bunch of morons watch a ball drop and try to sing a song that nobody knows the words to.
