What do you think will be remembered as the most remarkable thing about 1/11/11? (I realize we still have a few hours left, but I think the most remarkable thing being tied to this date has already occurred.)

At 1:11 EST today 1/11/11 I was busy getting my minimum daily requirement of bull dada propaganda from THE source, i.e. the Communist News Network (required since in order to win you must know your enemy), all about the deranged shooter they cannot seem to get a good enough handle on to exploit despite their team efforts to do so. The talking head broke into the middle of the commercials to announce: "It is now 1:11 on 1/11/11. This is a very momentous occasion." (or something to that effect) - then they went back to their primary programming which is running commercials.

1/11/11 for me was not a big deal and nothing happened to me. It is just another day for me. All I did was stay at home fighting a Netflix "addiction" (and losing).

I had a crazy day today actually, at work. A couple of near accidents, and I lost my hardhat in one of them. It's not good to lose your hardhat. I'm glad 1/11/11 is over (in a few hours) ;D

day off, took a nap, got ready for stir fry dinner with the Loveflower, daughter Beth, and Karin the babysitter. Sold a stock, bought another, booked a small profit. gassed up the work vehicle, got ice cream for the homemade peach pie for dessert. Put flea repellent of the 2 cats. got the mail. Gave SIL some background info on the Actress Jane Fonda she was unaware of.
