You see, I got refinanced in 2003 through a mortgage broker, who sold to Countrywide who sold to... maybe Fannie Mae.

BOA is "servicing" the note. They must be looking for ways to hook people into saying "yes"- that they owe BOA something.

Clicking Yes on a link is not legally binding. Hope that isn't their entire business plan going forward.

They probably shredded all sorts of papers to cover their ass back when the housing collapse began and now they are standing there going "Sum B*tch, we don't know who the fuk owes us money, start emailing everyone on our contacts list and see if they fess up"
