He was a consummate politician who spoke out of both sides of his mouth, saying one thing to one audience and the opposite to another.
He was adamantly opposed to racial equality, actually using the words "superior and inferior" to describe the "appropriate" relation between the white and black races.
He opposed giving blacks the right to vote, to serve on juries, or to intermarry with whites.
He supported the legal rights of slave owners and pledged his support of a constitutional amendment that would have prohibited the federal government from ever interfering with Southern slavery.
He was a mercantilist and a political tool of corrupt Northern business interests.
He was a railroad industry lobbyist who championed corporate welfare.
He once represented a slave owner in a case in which he sought to recover his runaway slaves. Lincoln lost the case and the slaves gained their freedom.
He advocated sending all blacks back to Africa, Central America, or Haiti – anywhere but the U.S.
He proposed strengthening the Fugitive Slave Law.
He opposed the extension of slavery into the territories so that "free white people" would not have to associate with blacks or compete with them for jobs.
He opposed black citizenship in Illinois and supported the state’s constitution which prohibited the emigration of black people into the state.
He was the head of the Illinois Colonization Society, which advocated the use of state tax dollars to deport the small number of free blacks that resided within the state.
He nullified the early emancipation of slaves in Missouri and Georgia early in the war.
He sent troops to New York City to put down a draft riot by shooting hundreds of them in the streets.
He was an enemy of free-market capitalism.
He started a war over tax collection that ended up killing 620,000 Americans and wounding and maiming even more.
He conjured up the spectacular lie that no such thing as state sovereignty ever existed to "justify" his invasion and conquest of the Southern states.
He refused to meet with Confederate peace commissioners before the war to work out a peaceful compromise.
He provoked the upper South – Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas and Tennessee – to secede by launching a military invasion of their sister states.
He supported economic interventionism through protectionist tariffs, corporate welfare, and central banking that would plunder one section of the country (the South) for the benefit of his Northern political supporters.
He started a war without the consent of Congress; illegally declared martial law; illegally blockaded Southern ports; illegally suspended habeas corpus and arrested tens of thousands of political opponents; illegally orchestrated the secession of West Virginia; shut down hundreds of opposition newspapers and imprisoned their editors and owners; deported the most outspoken member of the Democratic Party opposition, Congressman Clement L. Vallandigham of Ohio; confiscated private property, including firearms; ignored the Ninth and Tenth Amendments; tolerated the arrest of ministers who refused to publicly pray for him; arrested duly elected members of the Maryland legislature as well as Congressman Henry May of Baltimore; and supported a law that indemnified federal officials from all of these illegal acts.
He orchestrated the rigging of Northern elections.
Introduced the slavery of conscription and income taxation.
Censored all telegraph communication.
Waged war on civilians by having his armies bomb Southern cities and destroy or steal crops, livestock and private property throughout the South.
Created an enormous political patronage system that survives today.
Allowed the unjust mass execution of Sioux Indians in Minnesota.
Destroyed the system of federalism and states’ rights that was created by the founding fathers, thereby destroying the voluntary union.
Promoted generals for their willingness to use troops as cannon fodder.
Created an internal revenue bureaucracy that has never diminished in size and power

Worst. President. Ever!

His actions essentially destroyed the United States of America and replaced it with a federal corporation. Everyone says he "saved the union", but some "unions" are not worth saving... many of the Southern civil war generals who signed the surrender later admitted publicly that they regretted the decision, and would have fought to the LAST MAN had they known what was going to happen!

OT, but I finally found out where your avatar is from Kreg. That was an awesome show, too bad it was canceled though. It was probably too anti-government.
The lead character in the first episode says, "That's what Governments are for, getting in a man's way."

I'm only on the second episode now.

Abe, FDR, Wilson.
All very bad men.
The Empire is very thankful for the public schools to teach the children otherwise.

This why he was executed. His job was done to centralise power in Wash. DC, they didn't want him to carry out this to make a strong nation. Useful idiots only get used.

The newest historical documents reportedly found and published in the last 12 months, has Lincoln being assassinated on the orders of his wife's opium dealer, Boothe. Mrs. Lincoln didn't like the fact that her womanizer hubby had 2 twin daughters by another woman. Being a doper herself, and deeply into the opium habit, she blackmailed Boothe, and now you know most of the rest of the story. Turns out Mrs. Lincoln was from old money and had been embarrassed by her philandering husband, and possibly even the unseen hand of Lincoln's father in law is part of the backstory.

Anyhow, what surfaced shows that Mary Todd Lincoln, Abe's Mom was another family name entirely, and Abe himself, was a bastard child.

History is soooooo much fun....

While i can agree with the OP, i would like to add something here that we never really hear about.

In the early to mid 1800's there were only 2 major civilized nations that DID NOT have central banks. Russia and the US.

England had the Bank of Rothschild. France had the Bank of Rothschild. Italy had the Bank of Rothschild. Austria had the Bank of Rothschild. Germany had the Bank of Wardburg, cousins of the Rothschild, etc. In other words the Bank of Rothschild had a MONOPOLY over the money supply back in the mid 1800's.

Who was Jefferson Davis? Who was E Mandell House' father? (Representatives of the Rothschild banking Family)

It was decided in the House of Rothschild that the United States HAD to be broken up.

Lincoln did whatever he had to do to stop central banks from setting up shop here. To fund the 'War' he was offered money lent from his TRUE enemies at 30% interest. Hence he decided to fund his war INTERNALLY through printing his own money, the Greenback. And through very ruthless and cruel means, but he did not allow a central bank to come in a rape the country under usury, which would result in the taxation of the American people to pay back debt and interest.

But you couldnt play that little usury game with the US and Russia, BECAUSE THEY HAD NO DEBT.

How do you get a Nation into debt? WAR.........Follow the trail....

This is also why the entire Russian Imperial fleet came to the Northern ports for aide. This is also why the Czar Nicholas had to be assassinated as well, ala the Bolshevik revolution.

Lincoln and Nicholas were both killed by Marxist Anarchist.

So Lincoln could have allowed the country to fall to banks as far back as the 1860's. Which would have put a stop to the entire Industrial revolution, IMO.

Lincoln NEVER referred to the War as a 'Civil War'. (A Civil War means 2 factions fighting over who will take the power over the other, that is not what happened, the South was trying to leave, not overtake the North) He called it a 'Rebellion'.

All the Congressional records state that "The object of the war was not to conquer or subjugate the Southern States". That Lincoln's entire goal was to "Preserve the Union".

Lincoln KNEW that if the South would leave, it would lead to the destruction of the Liberty of the American people, (much more rapidly than it already has.) This would have put America under the same power structure that had already enslaved all of Europe. It would be much easier to get several different factions to play off of each other, ala divide and conquer.

Lincoln never wanted to free the slaves, he was for returning them to Africa. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Colonization_Society#Lincoln_and_the_ACS)

This is the history you NEVER hear about.

"They" (AKA jews in academia) teach that the civil war was fought to free the slaves, which we know is a complete and utter lie. Why don't they teach about the jews owning the slave ships, the blacks selling their black "brothers and sisters" into bondage?

But when you own the media, the printing presses and can scream anti-shitmatism whenever someone disagrees with you, while destroying every nation you squat in via the promotion of civil rights, multiculturalism and divershity truly makes this group of vermin the children of satan.

Yeah I know this is about Lincoln, BUT there is a bigger picture here. ;)

Great summary, Sui.

You'll never get any Rebel Confederates to agree that their great succession was as manufacture of European paupers.
