Here's a video of the story of a Russian girl who went through the Gulag system. Although it mentions the horror of the system, the video glossed over a lot of history in the video. Remeber, the same people who took over our money system, also funded the Soviet experiment at the same time.

What worries me is the faith that people had in Stalin (the same faith people have in Bush and Obama). They believed that he was unaware of what was going on. Letters by these people to Stalin were used as evidence against the writers.
