Good video. I like his business plan idea at the very end about transporting fresh produce via sailboats. Now that is planning for the future. I think it's important to think about a future in which fuel may not be available.

I wish there was a way to bump a subform thread up to the top that way everybody sees it and if it of interest it catches on fire.

The present set up is kinda hard to attract views unless people frequent that area.

Maybe this is something that can be adressed in future updates to the site

I addressed this in the past, I think everyone needs to get educated about those two invaluable links near the top of every GSUS page-- bookmark them, and drag the bookmarks to the quick-access area of your browser below the URL/etc field...




It's sad but true about GSUS: if you post a thread in the proper subforum, rather than GD, it magically sees many fewer eyeballs & doesn't spark discussion accordingly. I guess some users just hang out in the GD directory only. Does everyone know about the

links at the top? Unread posts is your friend- it produces a cross-subforum listing of all the most recent posts... "new replies" shows all threads which you've posted a reply in, if they've been updated since you last opened them. Both those links are invaluable! I have both bookmarked with quicklinks near the top of my browser, so I can click them anytime without having to page up to the top of a given GSUS page to access them.



I've posted in proper subforums based on the assumption that everyone used that "unread posts" link as their main means of surveying the latest at GSUS, like I do. But the view counts, and subsequent replies vs posting in GD are like night & day! So it seems users need to be educated about these GSUS tools! 8)
