yep. I cant get earthquake insurance because you have to have a 6 week period of no earthquakes to qualify. One day, I hear, out of the blue, they will call you and tell you that you can now get earthquake insurance and you can take it or leave it, but Ive been waiting for that call for 4 years now.

I only felt one in my ten years here in Oregon.......made me dizzy and my cat jumped on my lap............the same like the big one in1972? in CA, I was in a body cast from my neck to my ankle andthe nex thing I know I had my X and our two cats on top of me........."Honey, honey, HONEYYYY DO SOMETHING" she says to me hahahahaahahah...

Seriously? I would imagine that the biggest risk of a big one would be after a longer period of earthquake silence... Building up of tension...

I live on the San Andreas Fault and it's gotta be over a five to get me out of bed. I have earthquake insurance through Foremost.
