View Full Version : Which GS-US members do you "relate to" the most?

Gaillo

So...
We have literally Hundreds of great members here on one of the most unique and diverse forums on the net! Who do you "relate to" the most here? Why?

For me it's a good sized list, but the ones that pop out the most for me are:

Awoke, GoD, Twisted Titan, Nordic - For being "maximum rebels" and not being afraid to speak their minds
Shami Amourae, Ximmy, Buddha - For having belief systems closest to my own
Neuro, Serpo, Nocturnal Egyptian - For posting some of the most "far out" and bizarre stuff, even if I don't agree with a lot of it
Mick Silver, crazychicken, Ponce - For "Living the life" of true survivalists
Mamboni - For making me LAUGH my ass off, on many, many occasions
madfranks - For being a "saint of a man", having grace, patience, and an all-around pleasant demeanor
MAGNES - For his fantastic historical knowlege and untiring efforts to expose those who want this place destroyed.
JohnQPublic - For making this all possible

Looking forward to hearing all of y'alls picks! ;D

GSUS, I'd post something but it seems as though Gaillo has said it for me.

I'll add in Gaillo for being the best mod on teh webz and for not banning me when I drink too much and say stupid stuff :) It must be a fun job :whip

Also for proving that one does not have to believe in a god to be moral and just.

I'll throw Ponce in too, for just being in his presence on this forum makes me feel as though I am a giant, but merely a gnat when compared to his splendid grandeur.

Also, PatColo, he is the conspiracy section, and the Greenspan avatars are epic.

DMac, for posting some of the most informational stuff, I only wish that I could contribute like that. The black pimp avatar was also the best.

For me... it's an amalgam, I can't really define individual posters except on a post by post basis. For lack of a better word I'll use "diversity" and all the different slants on things different people bring to the table that make me think and investigate. I really appreciate each and everyone here even if we don't agree 100% on everything, in the end we are on the same team, we are part of the 0.5% that are aware and are actively preparing and working against it. I even appreciate the lurkers and they even chime in now and then with nuggets of good sense.

So...all of you are my favorite posters, I'd love to meet you all IRL and consider you friends and commrades in arms.

I note those who give my posts "thank you's" and look over their posts more often, I know we are relating... If I thank your post I am relating to your thoughts, ideas, beliefs.

I hate to single out, but for some strange reason, Book, Horn & MAGNES (there are others) stand out... I see them as brothers, who would die for me... for many of us.

Even those I seem to be at odds with (sometimes), I feel a connection too... such as bellevuebully & NordicBerserker... they would be there for you in a time of need.

Not surprisingly, I feel close to the women here, especially Zap & Kos... Zap because I have experienced loss and relate to her feelings, she is stronger than I... Kos, is a woman who is simply more mature, patient, thoughtful & wiser than I am. I desire to be more like her... These are mighty women, self-sufficient, survivors.

I relate to Libertytree as far as this thread goes. There are aspects of many members to which I relate, but it's hard to really identify one certain member or another. But if I had to, I suppose I relate to StackerKen, because we're both in the building industry and we share a similar worldview and belief system, but I also relate to Awoke, PatColo and midnight rambler because the truth I've discovered through their postings has really helped me grow in my understanding of reality.

percival is hillbilly? oh, snap!

I have been wondering that, but if it's true it means he's found the apostrophe key on his keyboard.

Percival always was loathe to use apostrophes.

That being said, I still like percival, even though he is a mason, jew, SPLC attorney. LOL he is pretty much my opposite in many ways but I can't help but like the guy.

Also, I hate to mention names because I love you all, but I can "relate to" SLV>GLD because we both like to watch movies with closed captions/subtitles on.

;D

Also, I'm gonna take this opportunity to once again bemoan the late absence of jedemdasseine. He was probably my favorite poster of all-time, of all the interwebs. His opinions always seemed to mirror mine, although he was more articulate, not to mention an interesting motherfucker.

Book is my evil twin and we were separated at birth - at least I suspect this might be true.

I really enjoy all you guys and gals, even a certain asshole who thinks Stalin was a nice guy. We share certain things in common: love of truth over conformity and a fierce need to be independent of the herd. I think all of us are borderline cases of Asperger's Syndrome - I mean that in a positive way.

Being here has taught me so much that I otherwise would never have discovered or considered. It's important to be exposed to differing points of view and ways of thinking on things. Collectively, we act as sentinel over the world, quickly detecting trends and events that might threaten our freedoms, health and security. As Martha Stewart would say: "this is a good thing."

There are so many to name, but a few in no particular order (and honestly leaving a ton out, you guys know who you are if I "Thank You", than I like you, If I don't I might too)

Book, Awoke, wildcard, hoarder, Fred I probably agree with the most.

I'd really love to meet everyone on the forum. I think I tend to be way more adversarial than I should on here and face to face I think we would all get along tremendously.

So I'm trying to figure out who I "relate to" most here at GSUS which is hard, since compared to the outside world I relate to all of you so much more closely than even some of my own family. We agree on so many things yet tend to argue and bicker about the 5-10% we don't see eye to eye on. I point the finger at myself as much as anyone as far as that goes believe me.

Considering many of us share ideas here that we wouldn't in other circles, we have a closeness, which bums me out that odds are most of us will never actually meet up. Mainly due to the nature of this forum, but if someone does wanna do a GSUS wide meetup count me in. (PM profits gained from being here EASILY cover the cost)

I've said it before but it's worth repeating because it really does reflect my thoughts. I honestly like everyone who isn't paid to be here, or here to just disrupt.

LuckyStrike

I was thinking about an interaction on GIM1 the other day as well as another forum I'm a member of. I have had multiple occasions where I get into a discussion of differing opinions with a mod and they just come down heavy handed and in no uncertain terms say "you keep typing you will be banned" There is like some unwritten code about not disagree with the mods.

This in my experience has never been the case here at GSUS. Why? Because the mods are truthfully the fairest I have seen. Gaillo, madfranks, and JQP never come off heavy handed. I almost hesitated to type this for fear of coming off like some kiss ass but it's the truth and they deserve recognition.

It goes without saying that without JQP creating this website none of us would be here, but without the justice of madfranks and gaillo this forum wouldn't have made it 6 months.

The height of comedy in managing Shill-A-Thon at GIM1 was when the HaloMatic's latest sock was 'Agamemnon', avatar was some greek rock-head statuette, and Mamboni took the HaloMatic's Agamemnon avatar an brilliantly photoshopped it onto various 911 perps' pictures, like the infamous Wolfowitz pic,

http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/images/funny%20report.jpg

... or other funny pics like the Special Olympics athlete. Mamboni would change the whole pic to black & white so it looked hilarious. When the HaloMatic's latest 'Agamemnon' sock inevitably joined the Shill-A-Thon roadkill heap, the HaloMatic inevitably assumed a new primary vassal, but in all his future socks after Agamemnon, wherever he'd post his distinctive spew, those Agamemnon photoshop pics would follow him, dogging him like a pack of bloodhounds. :D ;D :D

By Nov '09 Shill-A-Thon's silent/background co-opting of GIM1's management was complete, and they abruptly perma-banned me for some transparently made-up reaso (http://gold-silver.us/forum/discuss-gim/is-it-possible-gim-was-shut-down-to-protect-the-members/msg4452/#msg4452)n, when it was obvious to everyone that in fact the new Zio-PTB there was shamefully declaring "uncle!", exhausted from the humiliation of my routinely beating the living shit out of their barnyard of shills (always in a polite and civil manner of coursehttp://www.labnol.org/assets/images/YahooSmileys/smileys8.gif).

In Apr '10 GIM1's new ZiOwners nuked all the GIM1 evidence, a treasure trove of knowledge, and launched GIM2.gov. I'd been gone from the scene for over 5 months by then, but so profoundly traumatized was the HaloMatic by his history of beatings & bannings, he raced to grab 'PatColo' as his .gov handle, and proceeded to post his spew under my handle... :lol

as someone who is, more or less, a lurker, i guess i have to chime in here. i appreciate everyone here! i don't completely agree with everything y'all say but you definately get my thinking about things. i can't think of anywhere you can go to get the diversity of opinion and perspective that you can get here at "da GSUS" (anyone see the big lebowski?). the untimely demise of GIM1 threw me for a loop. down the memory hole it went, from whence it shall never return. all of that knowledge and wisdom gone. i think the true patriots came here to help rebuild knowledge base which has been taken from us and i'm proud to count myself among you.

I'd have to go with Serpo, when it comes to health/medicine (which is my specialty for fighting the NWO.) On religion, I'd go with Gaillo for being a fellow atheist, and simply having a similar thought process. For gaming, I'd go with Heimdal for being a fellow gamer (I only consider PC gamers seriously.) I know theres more, but, I'm picking the top of the categories that I consider important. I generally relate to everyone on the forum more than anyone else in real life, hence why I come here.

I think Bilbo said it best:

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you, half as well as you deserve.

GSUS is like a support group to me. For that, I am very thankful.

I can't say that there is one or even a few of you I relate to the most. I'm sure I am not alone if I say there are other dynamics to my personality than those that are reflected on the forum.

Regardless, I consider it an honor to call you friends. There are certainly times I wish I could meet up with many of you. I bet we would have some epic laughs. Because of this, I am slightly jealous of k-os.

And since I don't usually do this, here is a big ole hat tip from dmac for JQP, Madfranks and Gaillo. You gents have done a great job. Thanks for putting up with me!

I love all y'all, even the ones I don't love all that much. ;D Of course, the ladies are my favorites, but as far as "relating" that's difficult because we're all so different. I am not a wife, or a mother, and I wouldn't go into a dark alley armed only with a knife because I heard rustling. My life is nothing compared to theirs.

I can't imagine a peek into any of your lives and say "oh, I can relate", because I can't. My circumstances seem so different. OK, so . . . I think on my "I'm tough", surly days, I relate to Libertytree. When I am feeling calm and wise, I relate to Sparky the most. I seem to have related to freespirit quite a bit during his short time here.

I'd been gone from the scene for over 5 months by then, but so profoundly traumatized was the HaloMatic by his history of beatings & bannings, he raced to grab 'PatColo' as his .gov handle, and proceeded to post his spew under my handle... :lol

It really is quite the dynamic thing of being drawn to certain posters over others, especially based on a purely textual basis that draws people towards one another and not a physical one on one basis. I'm sure we all have fellow posters who if we saw made a post we instantly click on it to see what was written and others who post that we click on later. I reckon it's just human nature but it is interesting to watch it unfold and how we interact.

At this point in time ALL of you give me hope and I would want any and ALL of you at my BOL or foxhole, sight unseen and welcomed with open arms. Quite frankly I must admit that YOU and others like us are my family, my real life family are FEMA candidates and morons IMO and I don't share shit or relate with them what so ever.

Every single one of you are my brothers and sisters and would stand with ya anytime. Thank you ALL.

[The height of comedy in managing Shill-A-Thon at GIM1 was when the HaloMatic's latest sock was 'Agamemnon', avatar was some greek rock-head statuette, and Mamboni took the HaloMatic's Agamemnon avatar an brilliantly photoshopped it onto various 911 perps' pictures, like the infamous Wolfowitz pic,

I don't know if I actually relate to any member in particular, but I will list some of my favorite posters.

Mamboni, Ximmy, and Book crack me up with different their styles of humor.

I always enjoy reading posts by MAGNES with his unique writing style and also his detective work is appreciated. Sometimes I have to play Columbo to figure out what he posted though. :D

I have probably learned the most over the last three years from Sparky and Carl. I have always maintained that Sparky is the most level headed person around and is also very smart. Carl can get real cranky, but he is also a very smart dude.

I like reading Nordic B and EE's posts as well.

There are obviously many others, but how could I have almost forgotten Percival, I mean Hillbilly. ;) :D

Thank you for the consideration.

I come here to practice my anti-social skills, they appear to be honed fairly well...................

While I appreciate some of the things you write, mostly because it comes from your own thought processes and are not just regurgitated BS from others, I don't like you that much.......... :o

I enjoy everybodys "angles" on stuff. Some people I find a bit irritating, but nothing wrong with that.

I do have to say that back at GIM 1, PatColo used to drive me crazy with every post being about the "Shill-a-thon" and I used to ignore most of his stuff, but he seems to have toned that down enough over here for me to acually read some of his posts and I find myself agreeing with a lot of it. Yes I know the shills are here too, but I think it is more obvious to people over here than it was at GIM so it doesn't have to be pointed out every time.

I love that this forum allows the freedom that GIM didn't allow. Lets just hope it remains that way and that everybody can just be who they are without fear of getting kicked to the curb over not "towing the line".

Lots of good people here.

I have some respect for Saul Mine, but I haven't seen him around lately. GoD is an in-yer-face partisan on a long list of issues. SirGonzo420 is 'the Dude'. I like Shami-Amourae's posts. MNEagle is pretty level headed. Filthy Keynes was an interesting fella, but I haven't seen much of him either lately. The moderators are decent folks--not too much on a power trip. I did appreciate Occam's Razor, who was a pretty smart guy. Phoenix was a know-it-all. I suppose I think highly of everybody here. I'm glad to belong in a loony place like this.

I note those who give my posts "thank you's" and look over their posts more often, I know we are relating... If I thank your post I am relating to your thoughts, ideas, beliefs. [ I have seen a lot of good threads disappear fast, also great posts by people, info, ideas, not everyone sees everything, not everyone logs in, I could probably thank you 50 times just by going through your posting history, I don't even know how many times I have thanked you, or others, I may be embarrassed to see some stats but it ain't deliberate. ]
