I'm gonna miss this place one day...Not!
22 Facts Reflecting The Demise Of California1-22-11
The following are 22 facts about California that make you wonder why anyone would still want to live in that hellhole of a state....
#1 The California state government is facing a potential state budget deficit of 19 billion dollars this year, and California debt is rapidly approaching junk status. One way or another the taxpayers of California are going to have to pay for this mess somehow.
#2 California Governor Jerry Brown recently unveiled a "draconian" budget plan for 2011 that includes 12 billion dollars more in spending cuts and that maintains 12 billion dollars in recent tax increases.
#3 The state of California currently has the third highest state income tax in the nation: a 9.55% tax bracket at $47,055 and a 10.55% bracket at $1,000,000.
#4 California has the highest state sales tax rate in the nation by far at 8.25%. Indiana has the next highest at 7%.
#5 Residents of California pay the highest gasoline taxes (over 67 cents per gallon) in the United States.
#6 California had more foreclosure filings that any other U.S. state in 2010. The546,669 total foreclosure filings during the year means that over 4 percent of all the housing units in the state of California received a foreclosure filing at some point during 2010.
#7 Home prices in some areas of California have completely fallen off a cliff. For example, the average home in Merced, California has declined in value by 63 percent over the past four years.
#8 725 new laws (most of them either completely pointless or completely stupid) went into effect in the state of California on January 1st.
#9 20 percent of the residents of Los Angeles County are now receiving public aid of one kind or another.
#10 The number of people unemployed in the state of California is approximately equal to the populations of Nevada, New Hampshire and Vermont combined.
#11 In some areas of California, the level of unemployment is absolutely nightmarish. For example, 24.3 percent of the residents of El Centro, California are now unemployed.
#12 Residents of California pay some of the highest electricity prices in the entire nation.
#13 The state of California ranks dead last out of all 50 states in the number of emergency rooms per million people.
#14 According to one survey, approximately 1 out of every 4 Californians under the age of 65 has absolutely no health insurance.
#15 At one point last year it was reported that in the area around Sacramento, California there was one closed business for every six that were still open.
#16 In the late 70s, California was number one in per-pupil spending on education, but now the state has fallen to 48th place.
#17 In one school district in California, children as young as five years old are being forced to watch propaganda films that tout the benefits of "alternative lifestyles", and parents are being told that no "opting out" will be permitted.
#18 The crime rate in the San Diego school system is escalating out of control. The following is what San Diego School Police Chief Don Braun recently told the pressabout the current situation....
"Violent crime in schools has risen 31 percent. Property crime has risen 12 percent. Weapons violations (have gone up) almost 8 percent."
#19 Oakland, California Police Chief Anthony Batts announced last year that due to severe budget cuts there are a number of crimes that his department will simply not be able to respond to any longer. The crimes that the Oakland police will no longer be responding to include grand theft, burglary, car wrecks, identity theft and vandalism.
#20 Things have gotten so bad in Stockton, California that the police union put up a billboard with the following message: "Welcome to the 2nd most dangerous city in California. Stop laying off cops."
#21 During one recent 23 year period, the state of California built 23 prisons but just one university.
#22 The farther you look into the future, the worse California's financial problems become. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, California's unfunded pension liability is estimated to be somewhere between $120 billion and $500 billion at this point.
So could the state of California actually go bankrupt?
In Washington D.C., some lawmakers are now working very hard behind the scenes to come up with a way to allow individual U.S. states to declare bankruptcy.
If something like that is worked out in Washington, then certainly the state of California would potentially be one of the first states to take advantage of it.

And with Brown advocating in-state tuition for illegals, more and higher taxation, & more regulations you can bet that Cali will be finished within a few years.
It's saddening that to think of what it has become after the unions, illegals, racists, & socialists gained control.

The sales tax for my county is not 8.25%, but 8.75%. But, in states like AZ, where the cities have a tax on top of the county tax, the rate can exceed 10%. I'm doing my best to get the fuck out of here though.

Sales tax is 9.75% where I live. Yup, I order a lot of things online. But, we've got nice beaches in CA. :)
In order to live in and appreciate CA, you have to be willing to leave at any time.

it's a shame too...because California has so many natural ammenities, from beaches to snow skiing, from deserts to mountains...and agriculture? ..they grow almost anything there...and I've never seen any other place that had bigger Trees... :D ...did I mention the vineyards in Napa? ......sadly though the left-wing nuts have/are destroying it

This is exactly how I feel! Right now, I'm lounging in a t-shirt. The weather is high 60's right now, just an absolutely beautiful day, and it's January.
There's so many great things about this state, but it's all the natural things, that are great. The climate, etc, all the things you mentioned. Yes, the left-wing nuts are destroying the economy, driving businesses and people out..etc, but they can't take the beauty of the nature away from us. Focusing on those things is important as well.

I notice in the poorer neighborhoods here in California, (especially Los Angeles region), that pretty much all of the fast food places now have, "Yes, We Accept E.B.T!".

First you need to eject or exterminate most of the current residents. Building up the state is futile when so many inhabitants have a genetic predisposition to tear civilizations down.

Funny to listen to people defend California.
It sounds like a wife defending her abusive husband.
When a state becomes abusive your only defense is to vote with you feet.
I did, I moved from the East Coast soon to be hot zone of NYC to rural Ohio.
When the mathematically inevitable collapse of the dollar happens, what do you think is going to happen when 20 million multiethnic, poorly educated people are going to do with 3 days of food?!
This is deadly serious stuff here and defending some predatory states dream is lunacy.
Even crazier is thinking you are somehow going to fend off a mob. (if you are successful they will just burn down your house around you.)
If you live with in a days walk, 20 miles, of any major city I would highly recommend moving.

I wouldn't bash or blame anyone for standing their ground in hopes of defending and keeping their homes etc..At some point though, ya have to calculate the odds of being successful and weigh that against our natural emotional attachment to places. Making those choices are easier to make if we make them on our own vs being forced to make those decisions by other factors/people. Change isn't easy, even if it's positive change.

The theme of this news clip was that they all really were expecting a DRILL
but unfortunately it was not a drill.
It occurred to me that it was really a drill after all but
these kinds of news clips are more fake news to convey, in the twisted way, the idea that it was not a drill.
That is the way that Sunsteinian manipulation works.
____________
I did listen a to the first part of that podcast and the guest John Adams seemed to be implying that like the dustbowl happened so that a lot Oakies would go to California and take the industrial factory jobs because they were the kind of people they needed in those jobs. Like it was all engineered from the beginning, even the dustbowl happening and what it would cause.
That is a little hard to believe but I transcribed one of the interviews a Dr. Dunnegan did with Dr. Stan Monteith about the Dr. Richard Day many years ago had gathered together a large group of young M.Ds. and explained to them how everything was planned out for social engineering in advance. All that was predicted did play out even many aspects of the society we see right now.
Randy Engel also did some of the interviews of Dr. Dunnegan.
Maybe this is still available not sure. The tape set that I transcribed for is no longer available on Amazon was called New Order of the Barbarians, but RadioLiberty.com, if contacted, now being run by Dr. Stan's son, may have a tape set available for sale.
1969 was the time this Dr. Richard Day told all about the social engineering and how deep it goes. Dr. Dunnegan and the other doctors were not supposed to take notes but he did anyway on a napkin.

Many MexiFonia people are emigrating to Texas. Bad for us. Good for them. Maybe if the next big False Flag happens in Dallas or Houston, as Ole Damegaard predicts, it will slow down emigration to Texas.
I heard there is a 2 to 3 mile tent city of homeless along the Santa Ana river in Orange, California located real close to high end residential areas.
This is what it looks like when the socialists/Marxist/commies take over. You will have the way high income upper class, ruling 5 %. and then you have the growing huge lowest class income poverty row people. That is what Mexico is. The rents of the lowest but rising rent apartments, owned by guess who, are out of bounds for homeless and unemployed and new laws forbid people living in RVs and Vans. Also the upper income people are getting tent city and homeless encampments shut down all over California. (Can't say that I blame much because these huge homeless areas haw no sewage and sanitation and illegal aliens also bring in TB and other diseases and all of this can ruin your property and neighborhood.) This is how Saul Alinskyites plan for the way for things to play out. Two tier society. No middle class.
Coming to a neighborhood near you soon.

Epidemic Of Car Break-Ins Makes Parking A Nightmare For Bay Area Drivers
March 5, 2018 at 7:45 pm
Filed Under:Auto burglary, car break in, Car Burglary
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) — Car break-ins are on the rise across the Bay Area. In fact, 2017 was a record-breaking year for our three largest cities.
We’re seeing record numbers of car burglaries in San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. Chances it has happened to you or someone you know.
San Francisco leads the pack with 31,120 break-ins last year.
In the same period, San Jose reported 6,476 car burglaries. That number is the highest the city has ever seen and a 17 percent increase compared to 2016.
It was also a record year in Oakland with 10,007 reported cases in 2017, up 32% compared to the previous year.
Unlike San Francisco, where burglars are targeting rental cars and tourist destinations, in Oakland, the majority of the break-ins are in commercial districts, where people go shop and dine.
The Oakland Police Department says more than 60 percent of the auto burglaries happened west of Lake Merritt, in North and West Oakland, thought there are fewer homicides, and more burglaries. It’s the opposite in East Oakland, where there are fewer burglaries and more homicides.
One reason for the uptick is that the items left in cars have gotten more expensive over the years, like laptops and smart phones.
Also, the chances of getting caught are very slim. In San Francisco, for example, not even 2 percent of the thieves are nabbed.
“My car has been broken into 4 times. I’m frustrated because nothing is being done,” says Edgar Garcia, who lives in the City’s the Mission District. “Now, I’m debating if I should sell my car but I have two kids and need my car for my kids.”
In San Francisco the District Attorney is asking the city for $1 million dollars to form a burglary Task Force.
But in most Bay Area cities, it’s a low priority crime. The statistical truth is very few car burglaries get solved.
To make matters worse, these statistics are just reported break-ins. Police say the actual numbers are likely much higher, because many car burglary victims don’t even bother reporting them anymore.
