I'm not saying this to be downer. I'm not saying this to question someone's beliefs, I'm just saying this because this TRULY is the time of OUR lives.

As fucked up as this world is, and the direction it's going, at some point, there won't be anymore pain, frustration, heart ache or LOVE. It will ALL BE over.

So enjoy this bitch of a ride while you can, and make the most of it. Hopefully, you can do the right thing at the right time. Stab some fucker in the neck from raping your daughter or wife. Turn some idiots head into a canoe because they're trying to steal your preps. Because the REALITY is that in the next 12 months, we won't be in Kansas anymore Dorothy. ;D

Virtue is rewarded in this world. Whoever tells you to accept hardship in this world in exchange for happiness in the afterlife is your enemy.

I think you are on to something here. What are you doing to enjoy life - besides stabbing and canoe making? ;)

You can read anything into everything.........if you say that the glass is half full you would go to heaven... and if you say that the glass is half empty you would go to hell...............to me life is works the same way because is only as your mind sees it.

Cheer up GoD. Cynicism is best practiced with a smile. Go watch Gladiator--or at least the end, where the good guy kills the emperor in front of the whole coliseum. It's got some good takes on Elysium and the afterlife too. Never occurred to me that they play celtic music in the Roman afterlife. The whole idea of the afterlife is to get you to grin and bear it while the empire loots your life.

And just to clean it up a little, 'The glass is at 50% capacity'. None of this full and empty judgmental crap. Being cynical is a badge of honor that lets the world know that you see the truth. Most people don't want to see that truth, so they use the term cynic pejoratively. Rub it in their faces. Practice black humor. A good derisive joke--one that evokes laughter kills the power of the oppressors a lot more effectively than any sword or gun. 20 years ago there were some really funny jokes about the Soviet Union. That's what really killed them. The 'rapier wit'.

Yes, only a fool speaks with certainty about such matters.

But GoD has a point, that this is the only known world. Don't bet your life that there is another.

What I want on my headstone:

Here lies Gaillo, an Atheist. All dressed up, with nowhere to go! ;D

Seriously though... live your life the best way you can, be the best person you can be, and you won't need to worry about whether or not there is an afterlife!

That is exactly how I feel. I don't think about ascending into heaven or plunging into hell. My reward for being a decent (or at least not "bad") person is having a clear conscience.

Ps 139:1 ¶ O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Ps 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Ps 139:3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
Ps 139:4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Ps 139:5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
Ps 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Ps 139:7 ¶ Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
Ps 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Ps 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Ps 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
Ps 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
Ps 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

18 tons of evidence to show that death isnt the end.....have a look

A six-year-old boy named Taranjit Singh from the village of Alluna Miana, India, claimed since he was two that he had been a person named Satnam Singh. This other boy had lived in the village of Chakkchela, Taranjit insisted, and even knew Satnam's father's name. He had been killed while riding his bike home from school. An investigation verified the many details Taranjit knew of his previous life as Satnam. But the clincher was that their handwriting -- a trait experts know is as distinct as fingerprints -- was virtually identical.

* In one fascinating case, an Indian boy claimed to remember the life of a man named Maha Ram, who was killed with a shotgun fired at close range. This boy had an array of birthmarks in the center of his chest that looked like they could possibly correspond to a shotgun blast. So the story was checked out. Indeed, there was a man named Maha Ram who was killed by a shotgun blast to the chest. An autopsy report recorded the man's chest wounds -- which corresponded directly with the boy's birthmarks

I dislike chatting with Ustasha but in this case I`ll say a couple of words.

Beethoven said: "Those who understand my music will never be unhappy"

Stop listening to any kinda pop,General and start learning about some classical Teutonic music, it will change your tune.
