Your brain operates on 10 watts of power: It’s true: The amazing computational power of your brain only requires about 10 watts of power to operate.

Women smell better than men

Its true. I've smelled them.

Memory is affected by body position: Where you are and how you are placed in your environment triggers memory.

I kinda knew that one already I guess... because when I'm trying to remember something I have more luck recalling it when I go back to the place where I initially thought of it.

Your tongue is the strongest muscle in your body

So very true! Try holding one back for the dentist.... Slippery and strong! I've bent so many suction tubes because of people that don't cooperate.

Also, the strongest attached muscle of the body is the masseter muscle. With all muscles of the jaw working together it can close the teeth with a force as great as 55 pounds (25 kilograms) on the incisors or 200 pounds (90.7 kilograms) on the molars. Another muscle not to be reckoned with...

20. Women might be intrinsically bi: There are sex studies that indicate that women might bisexual intrinsically, no matter how they class themselves, while men are usually either gay or straight.

Zio-programming.

41. Vomeronasal organ: There are tiny (and useless) chemoreceptors lining the inside of the nose.

I call BS. I think these receptors clue us in to many things like whether the person behind you is going to try to kill you or what time of the month it is for your lady friend.

45. Appendix: Yep, your appendix is basically useless. While it does produce some white blood cells, most people are fine with an appendectomy.

I don't buy this one entirely. While I have no doubts a body gets along fine without an appendix it doesn't mean the thing is utterly useless.

A higher I.Q. equals more dreams: The smarter you are, the more you dream. A high I.Q. can also fight mental illness. Some people even believe they are smarter in their dreams than when they are awake.

I dream a lot, and I have a decent IQ (not MENSA, but close), and I generally have a lot of very vivid dreams. Many times, if I am stuck on something at work, I will magically wake up with the answer in the morning. I don't know how it happens, but it does, and I am grateful.

Also, I had a dream about General of Darkness last night. He was nicer in dream life. ;D

PS. I`ve an eerie suspicion that this could be true about all women being bi.
I would infinitely prefer this info to be false and another piece of NWO propaganda to further destroy family values :(

Antonio has been allowed into female company a few times in his 39yr life and to his horror constantly witnessed how female eyes light up at the sight of another beautiful female.

A woman doesn't have to be bisexual to recognize beauty in another woman. Sometimes it's just appreciation for beauty - like an appreciation for art, and sometimes it's envy. I've experienced both. My boss's wife was so beautiful, that I found it difficult to look at her. I've never experienced this before, but I felt like if I looked at her, I wouldn't be able to turn away. She is that beautiful. I did not have sexual feelings for her, I was just completely stunned by her beauty.

Finally you have dignified me with a reply.
PS. I`ve been allowed into the company of women who looked like models but without any make-up. I`ve seen constant flirting, body language doesn`t lie, dilated pupils don`t lie either, all the basics of sexual chemistry have been there. I also cannot count how many of my close female friends finally came out of the closet as bi in their late 20s-early30s.

This is a bit misleading, while the brain does only use 10 watts of electricity it is the most taxing organ in the body in terms of glucose/ketone energy consumption.

Although the human brain represents only 2% of the body weight, it receives 15% of the cardiac output, 20% of total body oxygen consumption, and 25% of total body glucose utilization
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain#Brain_energy_consumption

In other words a quarter of the non-protein food you eat goes to power your brain, if it isn't going to your love handles of course. This is the reason most animals don't have brains as large as ours, they are expensive and they are only really useful if you have opposable thumbs.

I wasn't aware that you had addressed me in any other thread.

Women can be flirty and affectionate with other women, because they are non-threatening. And, I think that I can assume because of your location and proclivity to drugs, you just might be more likely to encounter gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, (drug addicts and criminals), than other people. So, I don't doubt your experiences.

Edit to add: Pupils dilate in response to the release of oxytocin, which can happen from a variety of stimuli, and not always sexual. I am sure that you know that heroin causes pupil dilation.

My world is that of high art in midtown Manhattan , classical music. I wear good clothes, smell EXCELLENT (wear Green Irish Tweed cologne by Creed) and yes, rub elbows with lots of fags and dykes. The art world is fag-infested hell and my observations may not be reliable and may be exaggerated.
I also see quite a few lower-class bi women, they are everywhere and don`t even bother to hide their lesbianism as many of the sophisticated bohemian ladies I`m more used to, do.

Your brain comes out to play at night: You’d think that your brain is more active during the day, when the rest of your body is. But it’s not. Your brain is more active when you sleep.

This explains everything..... ;D

Throughout your life, the amount of saliva you have could fill two swimming pools: Since saliva is a vital part of digestion, it is little surprise that your mouth makes so much of it.

I always wondered about that.....

True, sleeping is when you internalize all of the happenings and things you might have learned during the day. If you compare the mind to a data disc, 'reading' happens during wakefulness and 'writing' happens while you sleep.

Yes, that too. During the day you add all kinds of stuff to your short-term memory, your RAM, but at night your mind parses through your RAM for important information to add to your long-term memory, your hard drive, and clears your RAM to prepare you for the next day.

This doesn't apply to the Rain Man though.

I don't buy that one about the tongue being the strongest muscle. I'd think it would have to be one of the quads. There's no way the tongue is going to be stronger. If it was you should be able to push yourself along the ground with it. Can't see the tongue being the strongest under any definition I can think of.

This happens to me all of the time! I hear/imagine a loud freaky noise as I drift asleep and my whole body jerks, sometimes it accompanies a sense of falling. I thought it was normal. I must have a mild form of it because it doesn't bother me except prevent me from falling asleep at that moment, I just forget about it. It would be really scary if I didn't know I was imagining it though.

It usually sounds like this terminator machine at 0:15 - 0:21.
